Dinglewood Pharmacy is a Columbus staple and a neat little spot with an awesome neighborhood pharmacy inside. It offers a true hometown, laid-back, and friendly atmosphere where people are super sweet. Walking in feels like walking back in time to a place with a home town feel, almost like Mayberry. The lunch bar is often packed, featuring an old soda counter style for hot dogs. Their [almost] world famous Scramble Dog, sometimes with cheese, is a classic that many have enjoyed for decades. The food is pretty average and exactly what you would expect, with delicious chili that some say is made with love. However, some recent reviews note the chili recipe has changed and lost its classic flavor, with a strange taste, and that the scrambled dog can be very small. The workers are fantastic, prompt, funny, and helpful, which makes the experience good. A gripe is that they may close earlier than the posted hours, so it is best to arrive early. It can be a little pricey for a hot dog, but it is a cool Columbus classic to try.
