COREY R SLACKS, one of the pharmacists at 1622 SOUTH LUMPKIN RD., COLUMBUS, GA 31903 apparently doesn't know how to count nor properly read the doctor's prescribed instructions. I contacted the CVS pharmacy today, concerning an ERROR that the pharmacist made on filling my son's prescription yesterday (he was suppose to get 60 pills as his prescription calls for 1 pills TWICE daily), and we only received 30 pills. The pharmacist I spoke to was extremely nonchalant, and non-apologetic, as if I was bothering him with my complaint. This particular pharmacy is on the other side of town, from where I live. This issue also occurred last month, in which my son was given only HALF of his prescribed medication. It wasn't a huge issue last month, because my son wasn't in school, however I contacted CVS corporate customer relations to file a complaint on CVS, and how tacky and unbecoming this so-called pharmacist, that can't count, behavior was towards me. The customer service relations agent I spoke to was extremely apologetic, and confirmed I would receive a follow-up call from the district leader in a few days. Get some pharmacists that have tact and customer service skills in your damn store.

Never in my life have I encountered an employee that was as disrespectful as Theotus Butler. I get that there's two sides to every story and that most people tend to go off there emotional response, but I've taken some time to reflect before writing this review. From the first 5 minutes of non-interaction with Theotus (waiting at the desk) and viewing his actions I knew that his nonverbal and verbal behavior were unacceptable. An employee under him was trying to talk to him about an issue and she asked "Am I not allowed to have an opinion here", his response was "no you're not allowed to have an opinion at all" (the way he stated this was disrespectful and demeaning). As in any professional environment he could have acknowledged the perspective of others in his workplace. (To start this review off I should mention: I came up to this pharmacy 3 days earlier to request a refill. I was told that it was not fully in stock and would be ordered and ready for pickup on Sunday. Sunday morning I called the pharmacy and was told my prescription was ready for pickup.)Upon entering at the pharmacy desk I wasn't acknowledged, so I sat down in front of the counter at the provided chairs. Another woman (African American) came in and walked in front of me and was instantly greeted by Theotus. He tended to her right away. They carried on a laughing conversation and then she went on her way.(I should note that he did see me as I walked in because we made eye contact)I then approached the desk (as he was still standing there) and told him that I had a prescription ready for pick up. He asked for my information (I handed him my military ID card) then he proceeded to check a cabinet. He stated that he only had a quantity of 50, and not the full 180 count. (Although this didn't add up, because I was told my order was ready for pickup and that it would be ordered to supply that amount) I proceeded to let him know that 50 count would be fine for now as I am PCSing and will need some as I move. At first I didn't question it. But during the counting process, I noticed that there was a prescription bag on the shelf with the letters of my last name. It was placed precisely upfront as if it were just filled. Which could very well be my prescription as:- I was told it was filled via phone 1 hour prior - It had my initials- It was conveniently placed first in a stack as if it were just filledI calmly asked (I'm definitely not an aggressive person) if he could check that bag because of those reasons above. (This is where he became unprofessional)(His immediate response): He asked me "What do you do when a Major tells you what to do in the Army" I sat for a second before replying "I do what the Major tells me to do as long as it's reasonable"He then responds with this exactly: "Well I am the Major here and I'm not going to walk over there and check"The conversation then escalated for a minute (because I took offense). I'm not sure why he felt the need to make a comment in regard to my profession. He was solely going based on my ID card. I ended the conversation and made my way to the manager who was extremely helpful with directing through the complaint process. She also stated that there has been multiple complaints about him in the past with customers but that no action has been taken. I don't think that this employee represents CVS in a positive way, and is definitely bringing discredit on the company. I did reach out to file a complaint with CVS, and will also be filing a grievance complaint through Tricare, and contacting someone with the DOD on this interaction. No employee or customer should be disrespected in any manner similar to this. I hope CVS takes there Code of Conduct seriously.

I wish I could give no stars. I went to pick up a prescription for my baby and they all just stood there. Had the automated voice to play they were closed well before time to close. They just stood there in the window and pretended to not see us in the window with them.

I asked them to fill all the meds that I have refills each month because I have lots of medication monthly, not done. The clerks talk to each other about you in front of you. They don't have time to help you with discounts outrageous.

I've been coming to this pharmacy for years and they have never disappointed. The people there are all professional, kind and caring. They help in any way they can and it's so appreciated!
