I called 911 for my finance with stroke like symptoms to be taken to the hospital. They ended up taking him to piedmont and let me tell you 10 out of 10 do not recommend. There was one ER nurse who was truly amazing but I can’t remember her name ?.However, over hearing other nurses and staff members saying he was faking it almost made me catch a case! Another one was accusing him of using drugs! He was discharged today and they cleared him of having a stroke his discharge papers said otherwise. Also, the front desk ladies at the front desk of the main hospital and other nurses really seem to hate their job! When you come to a hospital you would expect friendly staff since they don’t know what you are going through or have a bit more compassion but that’s a big no no! The sad thing is there are nice compassionate nurses and other staff members there but the once that a rude and disrespectful ruining it for everyone!!!!! Any of the doctors don’t know how to communicate or just tell you something or ask questions that have been answered over and over again! Whoever is in charge of selecting staff DO BETTER!!!!

Years ago when it was The Medical Center it was wonderful. Now it's slap full of completely incompetent diversity hires that can't work the medical equipment, wonder around on their phones, can't answer the simplest of questions, and are clearly their just because the color of their skin. I watched a nurse that was clearly high on pain killers stand at the white board in my room and spend ten minutes writing the Dr name, erasing it, and rewriting it exactly the same way. Then she wondered around my room for a few minutes like she was confused as to her surroundings. Then she took a personal call on her cellphone in the doorway of my room and had a loud boisterous conversation with her friend at 2:00am. While I was laying there with a wired shut jaw and two broken wrist. They let me go home while I was covered in dried blood and still bleeding. I had to get a friend to bandage and clean my face properly, and remove the large chunk of dried blood blocking my ear hole. I couldn't hear out of that ear for three days and they said it was most likely a ruptured eardrum. Thankfully it was just clogged

Thought I found a good doctor. Don't know because we met only with the NP. Seemed okay until we needed prescription refills. My wife and I have been out of one of our meds each and we cannot get the office of Stephanie Stewart to call in our medication. Piss poor service, going to change to someone else. Will be fileing a complaint.

This place should just be shutdown, there is no reason why someone should have to sit in the waiting room for 2&a half hrs for some blood work. This was my 2cnd time visiting this place and sha.e on me for going back the first time I waited 7 hours???

This is just for the emergency department, i haven't been seen in labor and delivery before. I came in because I'm 37 weeks pregnant but i had this feeling that my uterus is starting to prolapse. The screener Kristan called the unit and was told my husband and 14 month old daughter weren't even allowed on the same floor as me and that they had to stay in the emergency room while i wentUp alone to get checked. There's a waiting area on the same floor i don't understand how they couldn't just wait in there while i went into a room alone? I left and went to st Francis to be seen. They were a lot more helpful.

Was in er trauma, waited almost 8hrs for emergency surgery, was in unbearable pain and was told o 3 different times that I needed to be quiet. After surgery, the surgical floor room was unreal. Trying to get a tech or nurse was almost impossible. And when they did show up, there was not alot of compassion. When I left to go to rehab, none of the staff packed up ortho braces, so who knows what happened to them

ER staff in the lobby was nice. The ER staff name Nurse Jay was nasty, gave an attitude like he had a problem that I asked him a question. Got smart when I asked a question like I knew the medical answer already. I’m not a medical licensed individual so what’s easy to you might not be easy for me.

The lady at the front desk made me get in the back of the line to wait to check in after I told her I had an appointment at labor and delivery as I had to go and have a blood patch procedure done due to a spinal leak after having an epidural to have my baby. I had my baby on a Wednesday and was back on that Sunday. She was rude and was only worried about her door dash food that she received, of course she let him pass everyone to come to the desk and made the comment “apparently I ain’t eating for a while”. She never offered me a wheel chair or to see if she should call someone. I was in so much pain and had to stand in line holding my neck for 30 minutes plus. Would highly recommend have two lines - one for patients coming in and one line for visitors. And someone to check people in that actually cares for people. Every person in that line is either hurting, it could be seeing a loved one or hurting in pain. Have someone that can show a bit of sympathy. I would give five stars to my nurse Betsy in labor and delivery. All the nurses were top notch. It’s just getting into the hospital that is the issue. Do better piedmont. This was on 11/19 at around 9 am where you can break it down to see who was “working”.

Went to the ER on yesterday and the service was horrible. I went by ambulance due to I was having a hard time walking. They checked my vitals when I first got there but once I was in the room I didn’t see anyone. NP came in one time and that was it. I was there for almost 4 hrs without seeing anyone. I had to go to the restroom no one would come take me. Administration came around to ask questions about the services. I had to tell him I haven’t seen anyone, and I needed to go to the restroom. It took him to tell them I had to go the restroom. When the nurse or whatever he was came in there he had a very nasty attitude. Now when I got there my blood pressure was a little high and I had tempt of 100.4. But I didn’t get hooked up to no blood pressure machine or nothing. It took for my sister to say we wanted to be discharge for them to come in. We had to asked before leaving to check my blood pressure and temperature, and he did that with an attitude. I promise the service was very horrible. I went to my primary and I got the service I needed with better customer service.
