I bought a TV on Saturday, took it home and it did not work, they were closed Sunday, so took it back on Monday, they only offered me half of what I paid for it. Said I should have bought the "piece of mind" which was never offered or mentioned when buying the TV. Michelle not only yelled at me, I yelled back and was told I was being belligerent and now I wasn't getting anything. I had every right to be upset. Basically they can sell me a TV that doesn't work and then throw me out because I'm upset. This is not only bad customer service but its unlawful. Your basically selling broken products and stealing my money. I will never go back in there or buy anything from there ever again. I will tell anyone who will listen.

I put a layaway up at the Manchester location in columbus ga I made 1 payment of the minimum I could put down to keep me current the next month I came in they said it was forfeited said the person who took the payment told me the wrong amount and wouldn't give me my money back or at least hold the employee accountable be real careful of their layaway system its not convenient as you think and they always push for layaway its the first thing they say after answering the phone when you call

This is the 1st pawn store I have been to. The staff were friendly and tentative. My girlfriend and I were helped by a member of staff named Paris. She was great and gave me a good sale on my guitar I was looking to get rid of. Negative reviews put me off of the place. I thought it was right to tell of the brilliant time I had there. Cheers!

A total rip off, they tried to charge me extra fees for everything. One minute they tell me one price over the phone and the next when I arrive at the store it's something totally different. Do not go there they're a complete fraud and scam. And they better not forged my name on any documents, or I'm getting a lawyer. You all should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of innocent people ???

Good Morning,My name is Steven Newhausen and I recently went to the Cash America here in Columbus Ga. And pawned as a loan some items to include three firearms. Last week I went in and filled out the background investigation paperwork so as to pay the debt and have my things returned to me. In these two ponds are three firearms. I gave it the three day waiting period as per standard with the FBI and then returned to the store today. Now when I filled out the Background checks last week I informed them that I have purchased over 30 firearms throughout my Military career and now several post retirement. I told your employee's that not one time in all the purchases has my background checked come back which after 72 hrs. under Brady I have purchased for years. The reason these checks never come back is because I have a Top Secret (TS) security clearance through the Federal government and in order for NCIS to conduct the checks on me it has to be an employee of equal or higher clearance then mine hence its never come back within the 72 hrs. as I was told at one point that there are very few personnel within the ATF/ FBI working in this capacity with that level of clearance. Toda, I went in for the second time to pay in full and reclaim my property and the young lady there says that they need to wait for a response. I told her there will be no response. She then stated that it is Cash Americas policy and that Cash America does not adhere to Brady. How am I suppose to get my things back? My wife wedding band and many other items are rolled up into these two ponds and feel there is no effort in helping me here.I served 26 years Honorably in the Army and retired distinguished in 2017 from Ft. Benning here in Columbus Ga. Not one spot on my record ever!! If I lose my property because e Cash America does not adhere to Federal Law I will be contacting congressmen Bishop here in Columbus, The BBB, Ga. Inspector General and a lawyer. A timely response is needed as the personnel at your store also reminded me another payment on each of the pawns are coming do. Unbelievable!!Update: today I called a cash America in Texas. They said that if after 5 days the NIC background does not come back with a response by company policy under Brady Federal Law they must release my pawns back to me. This is not what the store here in Columbus Ga.( store # 2472) told me yesterday...

Manager "shay" needs to be fired. Was so unprofessional and had a disgusting attitude towards me and my family for absolutely no reason. Her bad attitude is reflecting on to her employees and it needs to be stopped. She refused me to buy a firearm and said the " system is down" after I just watched a gentleman come out with 2 firearms. The employee said it all depends on shays attitude if we get to buy or sell something which is costing the business money and inconveniencing me and my family to be protected.

I needed a TV….mine went out just before the NASCAR race was coming on, and Kim, Sam and Shay, the three employees working that day were all very friendly, very accommodating and all represented Cash America on Manchester Expressway in Columbus, Ga in a professional manner! Such great attitudes! I purchased a great TV for a very fair price! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for not only quality merchandise but a very friendly atmosphere! Thanks you three….you did a great job!

I absolutely love shopping here. The employees, KIM, TERESA, AND THE YOUNG GENTLEMAN that works there are amazing. They always treat each customer as if they were the only customer there. I enjoy coming here. ?
