This shelter has the worst customer service. I absolutely love my puppy, best thing to happen to my entire family. But the shelter it self has made the experience of adoption the worst I have ever experienced. You’re told that the director will have to be the one to help and then you never receive a callback. This has been going on for months. Every time I’ve called the representative has been mean, argumentative and dismissive. It’s so disheartening that customer service is no longer a requirement when doing business. Love my pup-baby but awful experience

I adopted Pop this summer. She was three months whenever I got her. The process was smooth and very quick… so now I have a little mischievous baby running around my house.(she thinks she owns this place now.) she was very shy and slow to warm up. But she’s a proper addition to my family and the best cuddle buddy you could ever have. The people at animal Ark were extremely caring and sweet. Thank you for making us a complete family. ❤️ My only regret is not adopting her brother at the same time!!

We got 2 of our pups from there 8 years ago. We stopped in when we moved back to the area. We played with cats, pet some pups, and donated.

I adopted Jack (formerly Oscar) in January and am so happy with my sweet boy. I like that Animal Ark gives a neutering voucher so that the kittens aren’t neutered too soon as some shelters do. I also like that the remainder of his vaccines were reasonably priced. I would adopt again from Animal Ark.

I called this place today about my puppy that unfortunately got sick , they took him in without any questions asked! It was such a tragic moment but no matter the results of my puppy Max they did all they could and I thank them for that! The nicest people I’ve ever met!!

Absolutely love that they are a no kill shelter. I adopted Bentley, formally Axel, last March and he’s been the perfect addition to the family. The staff are friendly, professional, and go above and beyond to match you with the perfect companion.

I went to Animal Ark on Sat last week bc I am looking for a dog that I can train to be my service dog and best bud. I filled out the application in person and they said they would call the foster family that day then call me back. They never called me back so I called them and they gave me the run around for 3 days before I finally gave up. My dad called them today as I am still looking for a dog and they claimed to have lost my application, so I went up there and they were very rude to me bc I wanted to train the dog to be a psychiatric service dog. They felt like I should go through some $40,000 organization instead of adopting a rescue. The girl told us that Paige(the manager I had been dealing with previously) was in fact there and who she was talking to and receiving information from. However when we asked to speak with Paige, she said Paige was not there and in fact all of the managers are out of the building on lunch (She was a horrible liar). They will not adopt out to anyone that is trying to adopt a service dog, they will adopt out for ESAs but they refuse and are very rude and lie to you if you want to train a service dog.
