I was super nervous to take my puppy in to be neutered and update his shots, but the staff there were super comforting and very helpful. My dog did everything to try to get to his stitches the very next day (he had an e-collar and suit and managed to get through both) and they checked him the next day to make sure he hadn’t torn anything. Definitely will be taking my pup here regularly

Always helpful and friendly. I enjoy doing business here and bringing my pets. Every person I've ever interacted with has been so nice and seems to genuinely care about the service they provide. Thank you from all us pet lovers!

I took my dog to be neutered. He was in pain all the time and was in his collar all the time. We followed their after care instructions without deviation. They don't give care after the fact. I had to take my dog to another vet as an emergency. They said to follow up with affordable vet. What a joke. They couldn't see us. Wouldn't do anything like give continued antibiotics. His balls were the size of lemons and red and hot and wet. Nope they said take him to another vet. This cost me twice what another vet quoted. Not affordable and not caring

I brought my dog, Ollie, here for a second opinion about an ongoing skin issue my dog had been having and they were able to identify it and get him all healed up! So I brought my rehomed Great Dane to them, and they were so patient with him, as the big guy hasn't been taught many manners or been cared for the best before. And I can not speak highly enough about their treatment of my schnauzer, Lefty, and our family as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We received a very kind note from the entire office, individual messages from all. They gave us time with him, arranged his cremation and the man at the front desk was gentle when he called to tell me had returned. And one of the front desk girls hugged me on our way out, when I really needed a hug.

What a great & wonderful veterinarian clinic, My baby Pickles was sick and not feeling well, I called this place yesterday, they had no appts till Monday and this was Thursday, well they called me this morning on Friday with a cancellation, took my baby in and Ms Destiny and Dr Thorne immediately looked at my cat, and they knew exactly what was wrong, they gave her some medicine and she is doing good now, I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic for all your pets medical needs, they are promptly and very professional and there services are very reasonable

I can't say how impressed I am with this clinic! They're so friendly, knowledgeable, clinically efficient, and just all about taking care of our sweet babies! They're tops in my book, and my kitten thought so, too! Thanks so much, Affordable Veterinary Services! ??

Very good service and care for animals. We take our strays here for spaying/neutering sometimes and they are very compassionate. Have also used them for backup when our regular vet is booked up.

Used to love this place when Dianne was the “face of the front”. Sadly, I have seen such a decline the past few years. All I can say now is, AV no longer has an Autism friendly staff. I understand that I have speech and communication issues, and for about 10 years, there was no problem with how I spoke…until Matt. All I was trying to do was reschedule an appointm,, dated ent because I had been exposed to Covid, which I and mistreated, by Matt and then Veronica, consecutively. To think, I could have potentially avoided all of this and saved myself a ton of frustration if I would have just kept that appointment. I guess thats what I got for doing the responsible thin saiddone, I should really be thanking AV, Veronica especially. I’ve never been happier with the services I’m now getting from 2nd Ave. Animal Hospital. Simple folks! Avoid AV if you happen to have any speech, communication or special needs issues. THE STAFF CAN BE QUITE INTOLERANT.UPDATE: 07/27/23REBUTTAL TO AV’s RESPONSEI find it curious and slightly comical that you say you tried to reach out to me with no success…I will gladly post a screenshot of the email, dated JUL 15, 2022, we exchanged. The one where I ask you all what “abuse” you are referring to and attempt to educate you on Autistic “verbal stimming”. The very email that I never received a response to, other than forwarding our records. So, you’re gonna have to miss me with that nonsense. Plain and simple; AV was only interested in one side of the story, your side. In doing this, you willingly choose to stay ignorant. I cannot and will not give one Planck length of respect for that and I will damn sure never recommend your services to anyone…ever…

Having to get your dog spayed or neutered just to get a dental cleaning here is ridiculous. It is a REQUIREMENT. Why? There is no liability to worry about there if you aren’t keeping a bunch of strange dogs together in a room. Seems like a way to squeeze more money out of people. Also, I’m not paying a consultation fee just to find out how much a dental cleaning would cost. At least give me an estimated price range. This place is a cancer to the well-being of animals. Avoid.RESPONSE TO OWNER’S REPLY:I don’t care what your opinions on spaying/neutering are. That should have no impact on a dental cleaning which has nothing to do with a dog’s reproductive anatomy. It’s none of your business what owners choose to do with their pets, and it’s disgusting that you would refuse critical service to someone because they don’t align with your views, when finding affordable vet services is extremely difficult to do. You should be ashamed of yourself.
