Lady I spoke to on phone, Hannah I believe, is very rude and hung up on me when trying to verify why we was given the wrong information. Doctors and PAs there act as if they barely passed med school and seem to lack basic common sense even non-medical people know. Running as many tests as they can for the money and does bare minimum to treat anything that comes back positive. Vertern owned company only cares about Tricare NOT the patient. Tests aren't rapid so they send you home to wait for the next day to get any test results. That urgent care title of theirs is misleading. My advice is save yourself the headache of getting a second opinion and go somewhere else in the first place. Or go sit in the ER for hours on end since that's quicker and comes with same day treatment not excuses. If I could I would give negative 5 stars and tell all military families to avoid this place.

The response you see after this post is a lie. A cute care emergency is an urgent care that does do IVs.There are 49 one star complaints you should read about this place. I went in there with every symptom of dehydration including chills and muscle cramps and headache dry mouth and very thirsty . Extremely fatigued. Dry skin. Dark urine, brain fog, and extremely lightheaded because of low blood pressure of 100 /60. The first time my blood pressure was 108/65 and the doctor or actually physicians assistant told me my blood pressure was not low enough to give an IV. The second time was 3 days later and my blood pressure was down to 100/60. The physician's assistant told me if I came back and my blood pressure was lower he could give me a IV. When I asked for the IV the second time he said they didn't have any. I returned home still sick .. When I got home after the second visit I felt so bad like I was going to die. I had almost no strength left in me. I went to Piedmont North and was admitted for 2 days for severe dehydration which cost me $17,000 they immediately gave me a thousand milliliters of IV fluids when I first came in and then another thousand when they put me upstairs in my room which was 2 hours later and continue to give me IV fluids for 2 days.If you want to go through this kind of treatment and risk your life then you're welcome to these people cuz I'll never go back again

Awesome staff! Had no problems answering any questions I had. I love not feeling guilty about going to the doctor! Also, took time to refer us out and explaining what was going to happen next!

Terry Jordan, PA was able to properly diagnose me based on my symptoms and testing. She's very professional and down to earth. It only took about an hour from the time I arrived.

If I could give ten stars I would. My son had an accident at work today. He injured his hand and had to get sutures.
All the staff and Dr Jordan at this facility were outstanding. I called and asked the young lady who answered the phone if they could take care of him. She said that they could. The young man who checked us in was very pleasant too.
And Dr Jordan. Oh my. She is absolutely amazing. She has such wonderful bedside manner. She is extremely good at what she does. She put both me and my son at ease. She numbed him up very well and placed his sutures so quickly and so well. I really appreciate her compassion for him to make sure he was sufficiently numb. She explained everything that she did to him before she did it. I have been to this facility before, as a veteran, for urgent care. They take great care of their patients. . They care, and it really shows. Thank you again for taking such great care of my son tonight!

Absolutely terrible. We took our son here due to extreme coughing, fever, shortness of breath and congestion. The doctor told us that it was all due to teething (???) and that nothing was wrong with him. Brought our son to the pediatrician the next day and what do you know, double ear infection and possible Covid (awaiting results). Not pleased with this facility and will not be returning. There is a reason there are so many one star reviews.

Went in the first time for an upper respiratory infection. I filled out two pages of forms and waited about an hour to be called. Not bad, since I did not have an appointment. The doctor came in shortly thereafter and provided excellent treatment and prescribed the appropriated medications. Thanks so much!

First time going there today and have only good things to say. I think I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, everyone was nice, overall a very positive experience. Will definitely go there again if I need to see a doctor.

02/09/2024 - My name is Dr. Danessa Thomas and I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Rico, who works at the front desk at Acute Care Emergence. I was given this urgent care's name by a colleague, stating that they were in-network with our Blue HPN plan through Anthem. I was elated because I cannot find any in-network urgent cares in Columbus, GA that participates. I gave my insurance info and at first, he told me that I would have to pay OOP. I called my colleague, who was seen there three weeks prior, and she asked to speak to him. Rico was so nice about it! He spoke with her and he asked the biller to review. He came back and said Ms. Thomas, you are good to go! I had a $25 copay! I was so happy! Rico did not have to but he went above and beyond to make sure the information was correct! We need more people like Rico working in the Healthcare Industry!Thank You Rico!

I, my husband and granddaughter have had excellent care from Terri and PA Greenwood. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. A good place to for quality care.
