April 2024 by Steve Hendricks
I don't understand what is going on with this gym.Last December I came into town for 2 weeks of training and really liked the atmosphere, coaches, and community. I told the owners that even though I was only going to be doing about 7 classes over the two weeks, I would do the unlimited plan for the month of December because I liked this gym so much.Fast forward two weeks and I tell everyone goodbye and I can't wait until I come back for training. The next three months I'm charged the monthly fee and finally caught it early March. I called them multiple times a day, leaving multiple messages about it and no one ever answered the phone or returned my calls.Eventually I opened a dispute with my CC company and they couldn't get ahold of Phys.Ed either. Even though the three charges were refunded from a successful dispute, I was still charged again in April. My only option now is to close my CC account and open a new one to prevent a never ending cycle of having to dispute unauthorized charges.

Charging 60 a month for ancient run down gym equipment with nothing properly maintained or nothing else to offer in the deal no sauna or anything...this should easily be 5 dollar a day to work out or 10/15 a month not going to be scammed when they have nicer gyms for less with a 10x better deal and quality. Also every body doesn't want to do cross fit I can do that myself. One last thing u can sign up for less than 6 dollars a month down the street at the college park recreation center they have a way better vibe for super less and theEquipment is nice and maintained! This place is for losers!!!

This place is amazing. I rent the space to teach Capoeira classes, and they are fully aligned with the community we are building. They have been very understanding of our situation as a small business, and have been very accommodating. We use the top space to teach classes and it's a perfect space to practice Capoeira. It's always clean, the AC is perfect even during hot days, there's good headspace even when we want to train jumps, and it's has great natural lighting for lovely sunset classes.

I tried this gym today and had to review and recommend it. What I liked was the ease of parking, easy location to get to, the screen to remind me of what I was doing, and the length of the class. What I loved. I LOVED that everyone made me feel comfortable and supportive. There were some athletic people in the class but they never made me uncomfortable or out of place. If you’re looking for a place where you can learn, with a GREAT WORKOUT, supportive, and doesn’t make you feel awkward bc you still need to learn this is your place! I highly suggest it to anyone looking to begin or increase the challenge in their workout with a cool crowd and a great instructor (Chad). Thank you and I will see you again!

I started when it was CrossFit College Park then, after a couple of years off, joined back when it moved to East Point as Phys.Ed. Can't say enough good things about the people (owners, coaches and members) as well as the facility. They've really adopted the idea of a Wellness Facility by brining in massage, calisthenics, yoga, and a recovery room in addition to the High Intensity workouts they offer.

After gaining weight during the pandemic and working out at home in the room near my home office where I'm at all day, I was looking for something nearby that was intense and would be a good cross training workout so I could get back into aerial shape.Prior to the pandemic, I had been working out 5-6 days per week with kickboxing, yoga, and aerial classes with a preference for static trapeze.Fast-forward to a month ago and I felt I needed something intense that has a focus on grip strength and intensity to manage stress and put me on a path back to my aerial shape. This is perfect for that.I've always been concerned with covid exposure which is why I have mostly avoided pubic gyms during the pandemic, but these classes generally allow you to be spaced out (except for saturdays) and the overall cleanliness and sanitation is pretty good. They will recommend you start with 3x per week, but in my experience (here and elsewhere) 2x per week is better for the first month and makes any exercise program more sustainable long-term because you won't be burnt out from the start. This is especially true if you do other workouts outside of crossfit such as yoga or weight lifting at home. The staff/owners are great and will provide modifications you need so that you can train safely and within your own limitations.

Good classes and good instructors. I had a good time and they taught me things about posture and lifting weights . I really enjoyed going there .
