Do yourself a favor and read all of my fellow yelpers and U2 will never rent from this place! Although the price is right, you have to jump through hoops to get what you want and or booked. I rented a car the other day and I'm back in Maryland and still fighting the gas charge or should I say the gas up charge. This place is a piece of shit, the people that work there are just there to collect a paycheck. There is no pride. Southern hospitality is not alive and well in Atlanta.”

“I had to come and make a positive remark not about the place but the front desk employees, they make the place. This is my second time renting through this program but my first long period of time....14 weeks and I must honestly say that I have had a smooth experience from the first time....Had to go in two additional times for a couple of issues and I must say they were just as smooth. My last issue was a little complicated but Ms. Kim and Chreasha went above and beyond to assist me. Yes it takes patience and a some time, I used this time to observe all of the reps and how they dealt with their customer and I didn't see any bad attitudes. I will definitely stick with this location.”

“This was a two-day rental at ATL, booked directly with Payless online and prepaid. I was a bit hesitant to book with Payless based on some of the reviews I read but I must admit everything went very well. Pickup was a bit slow due to computer issues but I've seen this happen at other rental companies so not a big issue. Staff was friendly. When I went for my car it was an upgrade (SUV), normally I would refuse because gas cost more but since this was a short trip I did not mind. However, when I received my final bill (via email) I noticed there was an extra charge for the upgrade. I called customer service and they happily removed the extra charge with no questions. Again, the agent was very friendly and prompt. I asked about my deposit and she said it was already refunded to my credit card and should show up within a few days. So overall, I am very pleased with my whole rental experience and would definitely book with them again.”

“So to say I wasn’t apprehensive when I arrived into ATL airport would be a lie and certainty when headed to the car rental after reading some of the poor reviews.My first impressions were, super easy access to get there on the sky train. Loads of counters to choose, albeit I had a reservation with ACE. I booked a “Special” rate car so even more apprehensive.I was fortunate to have only one lady in front of me finishing up, so no more than a 2 minute wait.My ACE rental representative couldn’t have been any nicer. Heaven Lewis! She was amazing. Fast, comprehensive, thorough and exceptionally polite and professional. To be honest, I have no idea why some people have left 1 and 2 star reviews. I’d give Heaven 6 stars as she was AMAZING! To the point that I was checked in and in my car within minutes. My “special” rate car was a 2023 Hyundai Kona AWD and is a great little run around.Absolutely delighted with the whole service and professionalism of ACE.Would I use ACE again? 1000%. And mostly because of the service that I got and 10/10 for Heaven.Thanks Ace Car Rental.”

“I arrived on Sunday 11/25 around 11p. I walked up to the counter, no wait, the two ladies at the desk were welcoming. My information was scanned, and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I told the lady that I wasn't expecting a good experience based on the reviews.I walked to the garage and was greeted by another friendly employee who showed me the available vehicles. There were 3 rows of cars for me to choose from. The lady followed me around and made sure I was good before leaving. She was a bit too friendly, but it beats rude employees who act like customers are a burden.Dollar & Thrifty is where Hertz sends their "scratch & dents." So it was no surprise that the car I received had a ding. I was staying local, so an older high mileage car wasn't too much of an issue. It was still a good deal for $20 a day.”
