“Fast, friendly quick stop. Has a little food station to grab some grub which is actually very good along with wrapped food in a heat box to grab if you're in a really big rush. Slushy, cappuccino, coffee machines all you need to grab get up & gooooo !! Plus they stay open longer than any other store around the area so they definitely get a 5 ? rating from me just on that alone !!”

“I used to shop at the Dollar General in Winterville, as it’s right up the road from me. One of the managers, I believe her name is Nancy, has always provided excellent customer service to myself and anyone that walks through the door! I recently found out she moved store locations. Even though it’s out of my way to shop at, because of the way she ran the store and made me feel welcomed and appreciated each trip, I will now shop here in Hull. Great employees don’t get the recognition like they should, so I’m taking my time to thank Dollar General for this WONDERFUL employee!”

“My wife and I have this running joke that we can never get to the front of a Publix line because the waits are all atrociously wrong. This is the only Publix in town that we’ve been able to wait the entirety of the line because it runs at a normal pace. The staff serving you here are also the friendliest in town. If you live in Athens and shop at Publix, it’s worth it to come to the East Side. You’ll probably be waiting at the other ones anyway, so it’ll be worth the extra drive.”
