First of all, the woman who greeted us when we arrived, was the BEST! I didn't get her name but she was personable and good. Second, the Vision Center is the best, also. Everyone in there is excellent; they are expert in glasses and very good. The store itself is clean and well stocked. It's our favorite Walmart close to us.

Just about out of the mountains, this Walmart was my parking for the night. Thankfully, they still allow RVs to overnight in their lot and that's a good thing. I've been to quite a few Walmarts in my Yelping and this is one of the nicest and best organized outside of Northwest Arkansas. I was able to pick up a few supplies from the deli and dairy section without difficulty. I took a look through the RV equipment and found it to be well stocked. Self-checkout worked just fine without any issues. Outside, the parking lot was clean with no trash. Some carts in the corrals when I turned in at 9:30pm but they were gone in the morning. It was a quiet and peaceful night. [Review 20022 overall - 625 in Georgia - 997 of 2023.]

Definitely worst Walmart ever. 10:30pm on a Thursday night they decide to close all registers except 1 (the entire self checkout is closed too). The ONLY register that's open has no light on so I thought the cashier was finishing up. Took me two trips around all the registers to find this one that's "open". Needless to say the line is forever long. Customer service is clearly not their top priority.

This is by far one of the most organized and well laid out Walmart Supercenter stores I've visited. The produce section is lovely and the women's clothing section offers lots of affordable and stylish active and casual attire. The design of the store and the signage makes it easy to locate desired items. The fitting rooms are spacious and the clerk in charge today was extremely friendly and hospitable. Our checkout experience was smooth and the cashier was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely return to this location on future visits to Clayton.

So my son and I went camping up in the Blue Ridge Mountains and needed to restock some supplies. We stopped at this Walmart and I must say, by far this is probably one of the nicest and cleanest Walmart's that I have ever been at. It might be due to it being new, but beyond it looking new the staff here were friendly and helpful, something rare at Walmart. Usually when you ask anyone a question, the response is I do not know... well not here. It is located up on a hill right next door to a Homedepot. Just a heads up, not that it affects me, but for some people who are stopping by this is not like Atlanta, they do not sell alcohol on Sunday's in Clayton, GA. If you are in the area, I would definitely coming to this location. [Review #539] (19th Review Of 2018)

I hate Wal-mart. Whether in Miami or Chicago, it is a terrible place to go. It's a dizzying spiral of overstimulating products, signs, and people and you are either crashing into someone, trying to get out of the way, or having your cart stolen. No matter what hour of the day, it's just horrific. Then, in the mountains of North Georgia, I found this Wal-Mart. Just like the area and its people, it is wonderful. It's pristine, organized, wide corridors, everything easy to find, and people friendly. I'm still in a state of shock that such a Wal-Mart exists.

My grandma lives less than a mile away and loves you,Clayton Wal-Mart. I'm just happy she doesn't have to drive into the Carolinas for basic goods, or go to that NASTY (nasty!) Piggly Wiggly in downtown Clayton for food ever again! But as Wal-Marts go, you couldn't get more destructive than this one (well, Mayan ruins are tied, I guess). They practically lopped off the top of a mountain for it! It's sort of hidden from the main road, which is a blessing, because it's Butt Ugly Big Box in the middle of the most beautiful place I knew as a child. You can't even really walk there from my grandparents' place because the driveway up the side of the hill (no longer a mountain) is so frighteningly steep, you might get run over. You can still shop barefoot here and leave your car unlocked while you do so, which is endearing in a way. And it is well run and super convenient, as far as these things go, but it's still an eyesore.
