My husband and I visited the cafe on our travels from GA back to NC today, and it was absolutely amazing! Melanie took care of us and was just the best. She went above and beyond!! Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone in the area.

I come to Clayton every year and look forward to lunch here. The livers were amazing and super fresh. The sides were excellent too. The cheese biscuit finished off the meal. Excellent sweet tea too.
The Clayton Cafe offers Southern Homemade cooking, delicious desserts, breakfast, lunch, and dinner depending on day of the week. Catering & Event options offered on property or off. Bakery & Pastries items, Wine, Charcuterie, and retail items offered at the adjoining Market. We can put together meals for your group. We also specialize in large catering events. If you are having a wedding, birthday party, reunion, bridal shower, or for any occasion we can make the meal outstanding. Give us a call and we can help you make those plans.
The Market hours are Sunday - Tuesday & Thursday 8am - 3pm and Friday & Saturday 8am-8pm.
The Cafe hours are Sunday - Tuesday & Thursday 11am-3pm and Friday and Saturday 8am-8pm.
Both closed on Wednesday.
