If you want peace... you will not find it here. The neighbors are inconsiderate of noise past ordinance hours, there is no ordinance number for the apartments. The walls are thin, as we speak I can hear the upstairs neighbors TV and you can hear foot steps anytime someone walks. The teens and children are running wild and do as they please. I've had several encounters with neighbors and their children to no resolution. I have videos of teens flashing guns and openly smoking weed in the walk ways. It looks good on the inside but be prepared to do your own pest control for a month straight because the pest control you pay for doesn't show up until two months later. The buildings share pipes so if you and a neighbor happen to be showering at the same time, the pressure will be low. The staff is nice and they are helpful but you can't control who your neighbors are and if you are looking to live around civilized families, I will tell you this is NOT the place. You will be on meds living through the foolishness. I can't wait until the lease is up.

The leasing agent, April Milton, is an angel and doesn’t even know it. Her and the entire team were so kind and helpful. My unit was changed upon move-in, but they helped me secure a unit that is more perfect than the original. My thanks to an amazingly professional and compassionate team.

Property is going down hills. I reached out to the manager Brandon but he is not returning my calls or emails. The leasing team told me he is on vacation and they not sure when he is returning. Can the owner please call me?

Great experience with Brandon!! I requested a last minute tour and received awesome help. He got me signed with keys quickly and efficiently. Roberta was also a great help over the phone!

I’ve just moved into The Ellis community and the staff has been attentive to all of our leasing and move in needs. Brandon and Roberta made it a joy to move into their property . Keep up the good work guys!

Where do I even start:-The tenants before me moved out mid-May, I went to see my unit the week before my move in day (June 23rd) and nothing in that apartment was move in ready. I told the leasing lady Darcelle that and she basically said the unit isn't ready for move in, we were just showing you since you asked. Which was a red flag within itself.-I emailed the property manager Brandon, who told me (on June 21st) that my unit would be ready by the 23rd which it wasn't.-They gave me the run around and til this day, there are still issues with the unit that haven't been resolved that I have to put maintenance requests in for. I have pictures/videos of everything that needed to be fixed but there's too many to upload here.-They tried to charge me extra for rent (for a mistake on their end) after I had already paid $1627. All due to them not correctly calculating my move in date and rate before I signed my lease-The other leasing lady Roberta got loud with my mother who was calling to explain her frustrations due to my unit not being ready but still being charged extra fees-I get charged for the valet trash monthly, but my trash hadn't been taken out literally in weeks, which Roberta also seemed to have an attitude about when I called to tell them this. I still have to use the QR code to request them to get my trash which I shouldn't have to do if I'm paying for it whether I use it or not-I've emailed them multiple times with no responses. I often have to resend the same email for a response. I feel like when I call the office, they basically tell me anything just to get me off the phone which is very frustrating.-Lastly, ROACHES. BIG COCKROACHES WITH WINGS AND THIS IS THE 4TH ONE IN A SPAN OF TWO WEEKS. MY HOME IS CLEAN AND I USE HOME DEFENSE MAX, BORIC ACID, AND INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH GEL BAIT. I PUT IN A PEST CONTROL REQUEST LAST WEEK AND NO ONE HAS COME YET.Overall, I've been living here a month and some change and I am disappointed in how things are going. I'd be more than happy to update my review but until I get some answers and resolutions, I'll keep my one-star review only for the neighborhood being quiet and my unit being semi-decent.

I am pleased to say that since Brandon and Roberta has been managing this apt they have been doing a wonderful job. The office staff is very nice. They are improving the outside of the property as well. Great place to live.

Sharlice was so nice! And very professional even when I myself felt like my boss was being rude . She kept it really professional .. everyone in the office from Darcelle , Ms.Roberta , and even the property manager Brandon went above and beyond to get us move in and I greatly appreciate .

I cannot get anyone to answer the phone. I can't get anyone to respond to phone messages or emails. The hedges were pulled up in front of my apt, but they have not been hauled off. I was never told that was going to be done, and now I've got unsightly, dead hedges to look at. They were a deterrent to burglars so I'm confused as to why they've been removed. I've asked if they would be replaced with new hedges but haven't received an answer. I was instructed to send pics, which I've done but still no one has responded. I had a leak in my ceiling and walls back in February, and it took a month for this problem to be fixed, and I had to press hard for them to fix the problem. I couldn't even sleep in my own bedroom. I'm being charged over $20/month for garbage valet service that I don't use simply because I don't want trash sitting outside of my front door to attract roaches and rodents. I've been told that I don't have a choice in this matter, and that I will be charged whether I use this service or not. In the meanwhile, there have been several times when the main garbage receptacle doesn't operate and the excessive garbage poses a health threat, not to mention exacerbating the rampant rodent problem we have on this property. My rent has increased by over $400 since 2021. Need I say more? I could but I'm weary of typing.

I recently inquired about leasing information as I am due to move to the are for a job. It was a bit of a hassle to speak to someone at first, but when I finally did, Sharlice was very courteous and understanding of my frustrations. She was wonderful. If I could give her 5 stars separately from the apartment complex I would.

First, let me say, my leasing agent Darcelle was so impressive. She answered all of my questions efficiently. Not only is she knowledgeable about the community but she is absolutely beautiful. I would not mind paying my rent in the office every month. The Ellis is the place to be.

It has been an absolute pleasure living in this community. They have been incredibly responsive to leaks that occurred during the Christmas holiday. The velvet trash has been timely and consistent. Maintenance have taken great care of the grounds. The new dog park and play ground renovations are shaping up quickly. Everyone in the office are always courteous and knowledgeable. I was a little fearful moving here, but this has been such a great experience and I highly recommend this place.

Everyone is very nice. The management is great at making sure you get everything you need. The property manager Brandon is very thorough and a great leader for his team. It doesn’t matter who your leasing consultant is everyone works together. The apartments are nice and spacious. A good place to call home. The property is nice well maintained. The maintenance team is good also. They work fast.

I absolutely love my apartment complex, The Ellis. I have been living hear since 2019 and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Ms. Roberta McBride is the best, she is phenomenal, caring, attentive, timely, prompt and thorough with helping me and being understanding of my situation. I suffer from multiple internal health issues along with mental health issues (which makes it difficult for me to be abled bodied and sometimes coherent). She is a delight and always makes me feel welcomed as if I'm apart of her family. I also would like to acknowledge Darcelle. She is definitely the backbone of the management team. She always takes her time, listens and acknowledges any and every concern I have had. She always greets you with a loving smile and makes sure to never be too busy to get back with you in regards for services and even helpful in finding resources beneficial to my livelihood. They are a power team and should be praised for not only the value they bring to The Ellis, but also knowledge and humility, always there maintaining premier customer service.
