Man, I wish I had bought something here and I regret it. Excellent artistry in their pottery. The building is really neat, as it’s an old mill, and you can feed the trout off the back deck overhanging the river. Thanks to the unnamed local who bought the fish food for us to feed the amazing trout with.

So glad our airbnb host recommended this spot to us! Absolutely beautiful pottery from local artists and a great view of a waterfall as well. Very nice staff and reasonably priced. Truly a hidden gem I’m glad we were able to see!

Very interesting place. Everyone should visit at least once. Well, maybe not children nor extremely clumsy people, but everyone else.
At Mark of the Potter, you will experience the intersection of art, history and nature where local artists produce and sell American made functional pottery. History lives on in this 1930's corn grinding mill that overlooks the Soque River where our "giant" pet trout happily await a feeding from our clients.
