The smoked chicken wings and baby back ribs were over cooked to the point they were hard to eat. My dog had an 80$ supper that night.

Went on Saturday around 1:30. No line, lots of open tables. Still waited 30 min to be seated. Another 49 min to get food. I think they were lacking on staff. If you don’t mind waiting over an hour , the food is

A true southern “hole in the wall” restaurant. They’ve got my accent pulled out and moanin obscenities at the table. I couldn’t help myself. I left stuffed and two take home boxes in hand. I’m disappointed I’ve lived my life so far without this place being in my rotation. You have to go. I’d tell you to order the (fill in the blank) but everything was beyond amazing. I don’t think there’s a bad thing on the menu. The service was also lovely. They’ll make you feel at home.

Weren’t even greeted after being seated. Then another table sat right next to us and had their drink order taken immediately. We left.

I had the rips with the greens and onion rings. The food was tasty. My husband had the sausage, he said it was to spicy for him .

The waitress was overwhelmed but courteous. The food took longer than it should (food was dropped and another had to be made) but I still enjoyed it.

Horrible service and the food was not good, the brisket was dry and the Brunswick stew was brought out cold, tables were sticky along with the floors. Horrible food , don’t recommend wasting your money.

The food was terrible. Hush puppies were burnt and tasted like they were cooked in old grease. The brisket was greasy and tasteless, by far the worst I have ever had.Macaroni tasted like it was days old. They get one star because the cracklins and sweet potato fries were good and the only things we ordered that were edible.

We had lunch here for the 1st time. Three people got the brisket sandwich and one for the Cuban. The food was delicious. The fries we just like the ones my dad homemade as a kid! Definitely try this place!

Thought I would be smart and pick up tomorrows (7/29/23) dinner. I ask for a family pack with a quart of stew. I received a small sauce cup of stew, when opening the container of slaw the next day it was light brown, the buns (see pic for date)were out of date and had mold on them. Was not asked what kind of BBQ sauce but was given an almost quart size of what tasted like ketchup with A1 mixed in it. Needless to say I threw a way $60. Please don’t get to go orders there.

The place was nice, completely empty of people, and the staff in person were friendly, but this place is NOT for anyone with any type of food intolerances or allergies. They simply don’t care. I called beforehand as to not hold anyone up in person, to find out what I could eat at my father in laws birthday meal (10 people, so I can’t just pick and choose where we go based on my needs otherwise we wouldn’t have gone here). I breastfeed my daughter who has a dairy intolerance, therefore I can’t have dairy or I would cause her physical pain amongst other issues. They simply said they have no dairy free options. That was it, no trying to help figure out what they could alter slightly so I could enjoy a meal with my family. I asked even the baked beans and coleslaw aren’t dairy free (as they generally ARE) and they said “no. Everything has dairy.” That was it. So I went and sat and watched my family eat because supposedly nothing on the menu is dairy free (or they didn’t care to find out?) So with that, I would not recommend going here if you have any intolerances or allergies. Or if anyone you know does. And I’d recommend that the restaurant look into adding something to their menu that people can eat with dietary restrictions such as mine, a salad with a dairy free dressing? I mean anything. This is my first time in 6 months of eating out finding a place that could not offer one dairy free item for me to eat. Very Disappointing.Dietary restrictions: They do not offer anything for dietary restrictions. Do not eat here unless you have no stipulations on your diet.
