Thanks for installing the new ATM. Was frustrating to need to swing by for cash on my way to work and the old one was always down. Was getting old paying fees at the bank down the street to get cash, plus getting charged by Region's as well. Or having to drive all the way to Dalton. Very glad for the new machine.

Our phone notified us of fraudulent transactions being made on our joint checking account in March of this year. We immediately called regions and disputed the transactions and asked for a new card within 10 minutes, although we were told we could not "dispute" the transactions until they posted to our account as they were still pending. When asked if the charges could be reversed since they were still pending they stated no. Further transactions were attempted to be made that popped up on our phone but thankfully were blocked when we replied "no" to the automated text from regions stating:"was this you?". Long story short, we received a letter in the mail 2 months later stating that regions did not believe the transactions to be fraudulent, and charged these transactions back to our account. Mind you these transactions happened in less than a 10 minute span, with regions fraud prevention picking up on them being fraudulent after the 4th charge, and showing they occurred from a third party payment system for which we did not even have an active account. We asked for documentation used in making the decision, and were granted with a 29 page document of which did not show any evidence of us being involved in these transactions. After filing police reports, and reporting the fraud to multiple agencies, the bank refused to refund our stolen money, and also refused to provide both us, and the authorities documentation of the further attempted transactions that did not go through within that same time span of about 10 minutes that were attempted to be placed on our account. We sued regions in small claims court, they did not respond to the court and it lapsed into a default case. After filing for default judgment, regions failed to appear in court for a damages hearing and therefore lost the civil suit after an overwhelming stack of evidence pointing to the charges fraudulent nature. 7 months later, after countless attempts of encouraging regions to settle out of court, regions decided to pay the judgment only after losing the case. Although this has brought some closure to the situation, we received no compensation for the 7 months time span that regions fraudulently held our money from us, and also received no compensation for the many hours of investigating the issue, driving to various branches and agencies, and the countless hours spent on the phone with regions "greenline", as well as the time spent in filing paperwork at court, and showing up for the case to be heard, all in our attempt to recover these funds fraudulently stolen from our account. If regions cared about their customers, they would not force them to wait 7 months to refund them for fraudulent funds, and only after they had been ordered to by a magistrate court. We are currently in the process of moving our last account out of regions hands, and do not recommend them to anyone after this draining and depressing experience.

My card got hacked on a Sunday I got a text asking if had tried to use my card on line for a certain amount of money yes or no I said no and it informed me my account was closed to contact bank on Monday I came in on Monday got a new card no problems I was very happy with how it was handled

Customer support stinks …. Very slow …. The people on the inside at this specific location are great but the bank itself has lots of issues with the mobile app and anytime I try and contact customer support the automated portion can never locate my information and you have to just randomly input numbers to speak to a rep. Furthermore, (when you do get a rep) the wait time always seems to be more than an hour on hold (in my personal experience) I tried the call back option and waited more than 30 minutes on hold after already waiting nearly the same amount of time to recieve the call back. Very disappointed in this bank...
