This used to be my personal favorite store. Huge selection of saltwater fish a reasonable prices with relatively clean systems. Then covid it and there was the Hawaii band and it's just been downhill since. I've been there a couple of times recently, but have been fairly unimpressed with the fish selection and especially the prices. I once came in this year because they were the only store in metro Atlanta that had a specific snail I was looking for and after buying a few of them I got home to realize that two or three were either dead or already empty shells. The store really didn't used to be like this. If you're looking for gear they don't have much of anything either, always felt their main selling point was their aquatic livestock which has significantly gone downhill recently. I wouldn't consider buying Coral there, and although they do have some fresh water fish it's not really much.

The staff here I must say is super informative about ALL THE FISH and the wife (god bless her she's working while having lupus) is the sweetest woman anyone can meet. She even give you tips on how to properly build your fish tank including use LIVE SAND. Did you know that there is different types of sand!!!

Recently went to The Fish Store to pick up a clean up crew for a new reef tank. While this place has always had the warehouse look, it was my go-to store in the past due to the knowledge of the staff and the spotless holding tanks. This time I was very disappointed. Most of the salt water holding tanks were empty and I only saw one type of snail. There may have been some emerald crabs but could not find them. The salt water holding tanks were pretty filthy as well. The frag tanks were mostly barren and hard to see. On the freshwater side, the labidochromis tank had some decent dwarf cichlids but they were feasting on dead fish.. I stopped to look at some supplies (test kits) and found that they were water damaged with crusting salt on the boxes..... And as for help, there was none. The three people there spent the entire time sitting at the register talking to each other while their dog ran around the store jumping on customers. My only interaction with them was unacceptable and rude.... I won't be back. This place must have sold...

Their customer service is beyond horror. My husband came in to get some tiger barbs and the owner’s dog kept jumping all over him. My husband nicely asked the owner to keep the dog from doing that yet they refused to take actions and only said “The dog wouldn’t do anything.” My husband was not comfortable with the dog so he asked again for the owner to intervene. Yet instead, the owner asked my husband to LEAVE, treated him without basic human respect. This should not be accepted as a normal behavior.

This store is filthy just like the employees. They were late to open and rude. Also they wouldn't let use their bathroom.

The fish store has a wide selection of exotic fish. I bought my daughter 1st fish from here. The staff was very helpful.

Not sure if this place is still open. Used to be THE go-to sort for anything. Internet says open at 11am, I got there at noon, all lights out doors locked. Saturday 8/19

I came into the store just before they were closing after being stuck in traffic trying to make it over there. They were so kind and willing to help. I knew exactly what I needed, but told them I would come back if they were closing because I know how it feels to want to get off work! Instead, they got me in and out in about 5 min or so and were very pleasant and accommodating! These ladies were great. I will be returning to the store bc I saw some great fish I would be interested in adding to my aquarium!
