Started bringing my senior dog in June 2024 for a 2nd opinion on her health. News wasn't great, her heart was failing however all staff were friendly and helpful. They moved straight to treatment and for the next few months I had several visits, every time they were friendly and took care of my sweet girl so well. Thankfully I got a few more months with her then had to put her to rest yesterday. It was an incredibly hard decision to make but the doctors and staff were so helpful. With such an emotional process, they offered great support and care. Highly recommend this office to anyone with pets, they will take great care of them and were always so friendly. Dr Graves and Dr Clardy treated my girl the most, outstanding doctors who truly care about their patients and their owners. Kara was also outstanding with getting appointments, being emotionally supportive and always helpful on my visits.

an amazing hospital with amazing staff! Dr. Clardy is so kind and personable. our dog Stella had to have her leg amputated, and they got her in for a consultation the same day and we scheduled her surgery for a week out. Dr. Clardy was very interactive, and it made me very trusting of him! her surgery went great, and they communicated with us during her stay. Dr. Blackmar and Dr. Graves were also fantastic and took great care of my baby. they kept her for a few days longer for observation to make sure she was absolutely stable and ready to go home. fair pricing, amazing and knowledgeable doctors. I wish we knew about this hospital from the beginning! i will absolutely be using Cataula Veterinary Hospital for all my babies care from here on out.
Thank you Dr. Clardy, Dr. Graves, Dr. Blackmar, and all the staff at Cataula for giving Stella the chance to live a normal, happy, healthy life!

They’re the best. My dog Fig loves going to them! Every time we pull down their road she gets super excited. A huge thanks to their staff for being so accommodating with her and how hyper she is. ❤️

Absolutely the best veterinary care you can get. Dr. Graves is awesome. She really cares and takes the time to examine your pet, answer questions and provide complete care. Highly recommend. We no longer live in Harris County but make the drive because it is worth it!

Twice now Catuala vet has come to my rescue. Both times they've made a house call to put one of my terribly sick babies to sleep. The last time was just a month ago.(02/2024) They said they had stopped providing house calls. I don't know why they made an exception, but they'll never know how much it meant/means to me. My 17-year-old cat, Oscar, was slowly and painfully dying. He was suffering terribly. The thought of forcing him into the cat carrier and stressing him out at the vet to be put down was more than I could bear. Dr. Graves was going to come to our house to do it, but she wasn't there when the time came, so Dr. Blackmar graciously gave up his lunch hour, came to our house, and gently sent my sweet angel to Heaven. He did this even though I didn't have pets as patients at Cataula Vet!! I can't imagine any other vet doing such a wonderful thing. My 2 dogs, 2 cats, and my bird are now going to be exclusively seeing the docs at Cataula Veterinary Hospital!! Thank you to Dr. Blackmar, Dr. Graves, and the wonderful staff that were so patient and kind to me during such a horrible and trying time in my life!!
