Dr. Walker is fantastic. I switched from Bartow and I have been very happy with her care. The staff is friendly and everyone is very caring. Dr. Walker will give a plan, but understands budget so she always talks through the options.

We have been using Dr. Lisa Walker for over 20 years with all of our pets over the years.. She is absolutely wonderful.. Dr. Walker takes up the time with you and your pet and very thorough with the treatment.. I am so proud that she shows complete passion when one of our pets over the years, have had to cross over the rainbow to go home. Dr. Lisa Walker is the Best in Bartow County! Thank you Dr. Walker for the love you showed our pet Coco today...

The Vets and staff are the best and very caring! Our regular visits always go without a hitch and never any pressure for additional services. The doctor will advise a plan but recognizes budget issues. We've recently had two tragic situations where we had to put down our fur baby and they showed the greatest concern and empathy.

2 and a half years ago, I would have given this vet practice 10 stars if I could. When I had to put my pup Buster down after 12 years, I was beyond devastated, and this practice made me and my family feel supported and loved. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, and I was flabbergasted. I brought my new pup (now 2 years old) in with a nasty ear infection. I was made to feel like a TERRIBLE pet owner. I know his ear infection was bad, that’s why we were there. I know this practice is pricey, so I was expecting the cost, but not the appalling treatment that I received. When I came in for our follow up appointment today, I was told by the other (new?) doctor in the practice that I would need to SEDATE my pup to pluck his ear hair, and treat him again, which would have probably cost me in excess of $800 (sedation plus another $200+ for the medication). All this to say, when I saw Dr. Walker 2 weeks ago, she informed me best practice says not to pluck the ear hair in dogs. Either way, I don’t know what to believe, and I will be finding a new vet to care for my beloved pup. If you want someone talking out of both sides of their mouth, and a practice that is looking to make money, not provide quality care, this is the place for you. If not, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Words cannot express the level of care and compassion Westside gives your pet, Dr Walker is truly amazing, her dedication and care has been demonstrated to me many times over the last 10 years, Dr Walker will go above and beyond what is expected in any profession, her staff is amazing, and many are long term employees which tells me a lot. I would certainly trust Westside and recommend them.

We love the Dr. and staffThe Dr saved my yellow lab Mauis life when it was an emergency. I only take my babies here especially when it’s for a surgery or a serious issue. She is the only doctor I trust with my fur babies lives. Yes, it’s pricey. But what healthcare isnt these days… thanks for all you do:))

Stopped into this office near my home to ask a general question about my cat. Upon entering, I was confronted by what I can only say, appeared as a specter from behind the desk. An older female with very black lipstick, tons of dark, dark makeup and a very bad attitude. I asked, "could I ask you a question?" The reply was ,"we don't answer questions. Again I asked.The reply was a more emphatic " we don't answer questions" along with a smirk and a laugh. Have never been treated so coarsely by any Healthcare person. Luckily for my cat, the guy at the farm store gave me the infoand remedy I needed. Hurray for vets. On a Parr with the guy at the farm store.

Great customer service, regardless of how busy they are. Dr. Walker called me personally at the end of her long work day to update me on some test results for my kitten. Will continue to bring my fur babies here! <3
