I wish I had read the reviews before I took my car to Townsend. I have never experienced or even heard of the owner of a business rage with such anger. I spent thousands of dollars and my car had more issues after his repair. It's by far the worst experience I've ever had at any business. Beware.

Curtis will probably never read this but he is the best mechanic around. He has always treated me fair and I have been going there the last 15 years.

Curtis has always treated me fairly.Obviously, Some things are very hard to quote over the phone without actually seeing them. But I have shopped his prices over the years. But I have a fleet Of vans and I wouldn't trust them with anybody but Curtis. I know for a fact that they have saved me personally thousands upon thousands of dollars working on all of my vehicles. The shop might not look like much, but it's got it where it counts. And he still races cars, so he does it because he still likes doing it.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Whom ever they have giving customers estimates over the phone is SUPER RUDE! Literally saw someone else’s review about the same thing and I still gave a chance just based on the reviews. I simply asked for an estimate on work that I one needs to be done bc I paid another dealership to diagnose the issue but the labor was too expensive. This man literally wouldn’t even talk to me about that just kept saying no without looking at it he wouldn’t tell me anything. I said well sir I understand that but I just want an estimate of the work I’m telling you it would be. No I can’t I can’t and hung up the phone!!! Your shop would really benefit from someone else taking customer service calls!!!!

Received a leveling kit and new tires, already mounted. Called Friday morning and they could fit me in if I brought in the car in the next month. Bring it in, get an immediate quote. Curtis and team get to work. Calls me an hour later saying that the lug nuts from my OEM tires won't fit. Curtis goes the extra mile, calls around, and finds lug nuts that will work. Great, quick service and going the extra mile with the customer. Would recommend to anyone!

Listen, it’s Monday morning and I had a simple question about my solenoid switch. Nothing major or demanding a hard price but the negativity of the person I spoke with was a super turnoff. He basically told me that since I was requesting an estimate, that he didn’t wanna work on my vehicle. Maybe he was having a bad day but I don’t need to have a bad day as well and won’t. All I wanted was an idea of what it MIGHT cost. I had used them in the past but no more. Rudeness isn’t acceptable.

Great place everyone here treats you well and doesn’t mimic price. Mr. Townsend is a good example of being your in town mechanic who you can take your truck problems to and get them fixed at a very affordable price, and right. This shop did work to my truck that we did not ask for and charged us anyway. He kept our truck for two weeks and then could not produce a write up of work done to add up to the amount he was charging. Stay away from this shop if you can!!! CROOKS.
