On yesterday Tom was very rude and would not allow me to talk. he continued to cut me off when I was speaking and refused to listen to me or his own customer service rep at the service desk. Tom was dismissive and treated me like my business or concerns were not important. When his own service advisor tried to speak to him about my issues and what they recommended I do, he dismissed him as well. He basically cut me off and continued to say several times, I needed to come back Monday at 10 am and speak to the service manager, although Tom was being told by his customer service rep, what transpired between himself, me and the manager the previous monday. I left my wallet at the service desk, and when I returned to retrieve it, TOM was standing outside ready to hand it to me through my car window, as if to say I was no welcomed back into your building, me a paying, loyal customer. His lack of professionalism and out right rude treatment was out of line.

In July of 2022 I took my car to Terry Reid of Cartersville, I asked them if they were putting enough oil in my car when they were doing the oil changes because I was having to put oil in my car between oil changes. They informed me that there might be an issue with my car burning oil and they would need to do oil consumption tests. So, we did these tests three times, after the tests were done Terry Reid informed me that they were going to submit the them to Hyundai Corporation, this was back in Oct/Nov of 2022 and they said for me to be patient because there was many cars that needed these tests done. So, in the meantime I was calling and leaving messages for the dealership, no one would call me back. At this point I was putting 2 quarts of oil in my car each month. So, when I went in for my oil change on March 25, 2023. I asked Wesley about the status of the oil consumption tests. He informed me that Service Manger at this location had died and that my claim had expired and that he was going to submit to Hyundai Corporation a "goodwill claim ". On March 29, 2023, Wesley called and said that Hyundai Corporate needed all my service records for the new claim. On 4.6.2023 I stopped into Terry Reid with my service records and Teresa gave me Wesley Pattersons email so I could email the records from Dennis Hyundai in Ohio. I emailed the service records to Wesley that same day, I then called back and asked Teresa to have Wesley call me or respond to the email that he had received them and had submitted them to Hyundai Corporation. So, after repeated calls to Terry Reid on 4.18.2023 I filed a complaint about this dealership. 4.21.2023 Pedro from Hyundai Corporation reached out to me and said he would be my case worker to assist me. 4.28.2023 Terry Reid called and said that they wanted me to bring my car in so that they could take pictures of the valves and they were going to do the anti-theft recall at that time as well. I dropped my car off on Monday May 1,2023. When I went to pick up my car on May 2, 2023. Went into the dealership and when I walked in Tim stated that I should not be driving the car, and gave me a "Christmas" list of items that needed repaired, I told he what he was talking about I've been driving the car nothing was wrong with the car. My daughter had dropped me off, so I got my key and went out to start my car and when I started the car it was misfiring and shaking. I called my daughter and told her to come back to the dealership. While I was waiting for her to return, I went back into the dealership and spoke to Tim again. I asked to see my paperwork that they had just done on my car. He was looking over to the right at the wall for my paperwork and acting very strange. He then proceeded to tell me that he couldn't find my paperwork and that the technician must have taken my paperwork home with him. I was like what are you talking about I literally have been here 5 minutes and haven't left the dealership. At that point I felt like Tim was being very dishonest and was hiding something. So I asked him if he could please have my paperwork emailed over to me in the morning since it was not able to be located. As I was going back outside, I passed another service man and he asked if everything was ok. I told him that I asked for my paperwork and Tim couldn't find it, he looked at me puzzled and said come me and when I followed him back inside, he said to Tim where's her paperwork and Tim gave him a look like shut up don't say another word. So, I again said I would like you to email my paperwork tomorrow and had my daughter start the car and she said, "Mom what did they do to your car?" We took the car home to her place in Cartersville. I still haven't received that paperwork and I have repeatedly called and asked for it. Pedro called and said that he has reached out to the dealership again and that corporate is waiting for them to resubmit with the corrected mileage, I told him that Joseph said they did that on May 25th. Pedro said no that is not c

When I purchased my car I was promised some things would be fixed at a later date. Scheduled an appointment to drop off my car, morning of comes and I drop my car off. I call around 2pm to get an update and I'm told I never had an appointment and the earliest they could get me in was the next Monday. I had 2 text reminders for my appointment date and to drop off at 8am. 4pm same day rolls around. I go to pick up my car and come back another day but then I'm told they "squeezed me in" and the paint was drying. I was told they're not sure how I was sent a text about my Wednesday appointment when I never had one. I was never able to speak to the person physically working on my car until 4pm when I showed up. I spoke to 7 different people who all told me different things. The purchase of the car was the easiest part about it. The service department is lost and I don't recommend servicing you car through them, and if you have to I suggest you write everything down and take names. Sincerely, A very unhappy customer

WORST DEALERSHIP IN CARTERSVILLE, scummy salesmen being ran by scummy bosses. they Don't care about the customer and will turn on you in a second if they realize they are losing money on a deal, they looked for every way possible out of my deal because they realized they were losing money to late. I was cussed at and disrespected by this trash team of car salesman. When you think of your average scam car dealership, this is the standard

Copying the whole exchange from google since I cant respond there. Thanks YelpHyundai has a motor issue and because my luck exhibited the problem 19k miles too late I was forced to scrap my Elantra. They are replacing engines at an alarming rate and with full knowledge they have a manufacturing problem they are leaving their customers in the cold. I've bought 3 Hyundai cars but never again. The dealership offered nothing and pointing at Hyundai corporate. Be aware this will be your problem if you keep your Hyundai long enough. Absolutely the worst customer support ever. Bad engines!! Don't buy!! If you own one get rid of it now!!My Response from the owner 4 hours agoBrian, I apologize for any shortcomings you feel you have encountered regarding the dealership or the manufacturer. Hyundai has a great warranty that covers the first owner for 10 years and 100k miles. Certain vehicles with specific campaigns have received an extension upon that warranty as well. You're the third owner of the vehicle that's a 2013 with 120k miles, and the Elantra does not carry an extension campaign as well. We don't want you to feel we're pointing fingers at the manufacturer, we're simply referring to the manufacturer guidelines when it comes to covering a vehicle under warranty. It seems your review is more aimed at Hyundai as a brand than our business. We hope we can assist you within our power with anything related to your vehicle. If you have anything more you would like to discuss, feel free to email me at
[email protected] response to this... Terry Reid isn't responsible true. But can they honestly say this engine deflect is not real? No matter the warranty shell game Hyundai is playing this is a REAL problem and a manufacturers defect that Hyundai AND their representatives should stand up and make right. Terry Reid knowing this is hiding behind defective engine and thats the issue. Its not like this car had excessive miles on it or even that many beyond the so called warranty. Buyer BEWARE!!!

I have been taking my 2017 Santa Fe to Terry Reid Hyundai since I moved to GA. Not only is their staff very friendly and engaging, they have always been diligent in trying to diagnose any issues I have had with my car. They may not have nailed down the problem on the first visit, but they are committed to working with their customers to get you to 100% satisfaction. Vehicles are complicated, and the Hyundai brand has had plenty of problems over the years. Hyundai service teams deal with numerous problems a day and this particular team still manages to keep a positive, customer-centric attitude! This is the third Hyundai dealer I have worked with and this one is by far the best in knowledge, courtesy, and customer service!

The has the be the worst place to take your car if you need your car serviced. Please don't take it to terry reid! Please look at the reviews of this place. My car has been there since December 2021 now my car is still there and it's now February 2022. They don't know what their doing. They will waste your time. They don't answer the phone. They close when their not suppose. I don't blame the ladies up front they do what they can. But all the guys are pitiful! So please don't go here save yourself and find someone local or someone better.
