I have purchased 5 bikes from here since 2018. My disappointment comes from the lack of service. My most recent purchase was a 2023 RG ST. Since buying the bike, I have found that the service department has not done their due diligence when they PDI a new bike. I have found the handlebars all the way down towards the rider (had bike delivered) and unable to ride before I went to replace the bars myself. I also found the headlight was pointed as far down as it would go the first time I rode it at night. Living in the north Ga mountains, this is extremely dangerous at night.I was going to let this go, but I recently found my rear tire was missing the air valve cap. While I am on the lack of service department, I have seen others mention Bryan. I have dealt with him before on service of other bikes, including the tour pak ordered for my RG ST. He is a bit crass and short with customers. He makes me have the impression service is also competing with sales at times. I don’t care for him or his attitude. Arrogance has no place in customer service. I don’t recommend using the service department at SDHD.Update 9/2/23: went to SD to order aftermarket parts and take advantage of their 15% off for the month of September. I spoke to Zeek, who let me know. He was not familiar with aftermarket stage 2 parts. No problem. He referred me to Jeremiah in service to ask about the camchest kits I should order. I have never met Jeremiah before. While having a conversation with Jeremiah, he asked me who was installing them. I said I have called and had several quotes. He commented he knew it would t be them. I asked what he meant by that. He replied he knew who I was, even knowing how to spell my last name while typing into the computer (no one here ever gets my name right). Mind you, I have never met this man before. Jeremiah helped me with part numbers which I then took back to the parts counter to order. I had another conversation with a parts person and told him what just happened. I said, it’s how they respond and move forward would determine if I ever let them service my bike again. Much to my dismay, I was told they would service my bike, but only after it was approved by Penny. Seriously? I have to ask for approval to service my bike when I purchased it here? They messed up in more than one way, and they think I would ask for permission? No manager in this dealership has the balls to talk to a customer with a legitimate complaint. No customer service or any care to try to resolve a customer issue. I am a field engineer and am customer facing every day I go to work. I have never seen a company so complacent that they don’t even try to address their screw ups. They won’t even own it, or have the balls to discus it. Look how many reviews on here that are negative and they won’t respond. They only respond to happy reviews. I am definitely telling everyone I know and meet at rides, rallies etc about this kind of treatment. My hope is one person tells another and it multiples 10x. I am also thinking about calling Harley MOCO to see what they think about these events.0/24 it’s been months since my review last year. Management has no balls to even discuss their wrongs. They only care when you don’t complain when they do wrong. Stay away from this place!Update 2/29/24: Owners still don’t care to respond.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone here at SDHD. From sales dept, parts, and service they all have been there for me. I had a great deal on my street bob, and anytime I had concerns or needed work done service has always been there doing a kickass job. I will continue to keep taking my bike in anytime I need anything, service or parts. Parts dept also is very knowledgeable and go above and beyond. I highly recommend them over any other Harley dealer. They are, friendly, and treat everyone like family.

Kc and sunshine was very welcoming. Had an answer for every question I had. Sunshine had great tattoos and very polite and Kc was amazing on getting the price down on my bike. I think we became best friends. I love my new bike and enjoy my new friends. Remember if you want to go fast and look cool doing it go on down to see my friends at southern devil.

I gave up 2 Harleys and I miss them both but I got a Freewheeler. Didn't realize when I was little that the tricycle I was riding around on was preparing me for my old age for the big tricycle.
