“I grew up on a farm, having been caring for trees and plants all my life. I bought 3 trees from Willis - a crabapple, a crepe myrtle, and a black walnut. Only the black walnut lived. I planted them in the appropriate soil/shade conditions, watered adequately, and planted them with mycorrhizal root stimulators. 2 stars because the black walnut is looking good.
Update 2024: the black walnut is thriving and I get compliments on it often. Still wish the other trees made it but plants can be difficult.”

“I'm a novice with farming and animals. I went to Ladds expecting a store front. There is a mini area or two of retail shelves but the lion share of the shopping is done at the counter. When I built up enough courage to ask my random questions, I was met with kindness, patience and detailed information. I am incredibly grateful for the help and knowledge!! Outstanding customer service. I bought a few items, and the prices were good - better than the big box retailers! Highly recommend a visit.”
