Hughes automotive has taken care of my family car maintenance needs for years. They are one of the cheapest/best shops around. They don’t try to up charge or sell me unnecessary things. I have even sent my older mother down there alone and she has received the same treatment. Highly recommend this place.

I recently had the fuel pump replaced in my 2007 Toyota Tundra. The repair was done quickly and priced appropriately, and once I got paid, I was able to pick up my vehicle. However, when I received my vehicle back, there was still a persistent check engine light regarding a fuel system related sensor. I decided to ignore this CEL and go on with my life thankful that my vehicle was now working and that it was registered to a county that does not require emissions; I figured that the issue must not be related, or it would have been part of the initial quote. Roughly 3 months after the repair, the truck died on us again with the same or similar symptoms as before. I had it towed back to Hughes and was told that they would take a look. They found that the pump (or something related) had failed again and replaced it for me at no additional charge, stating that they would return the defective part through their own warranty claim. This time, when I got the truck back, there was no CEL; to me, this indicates that either there was an issue with the part from the start, or that maybe something (like a sensor) was incorrectly installed/damaged during the initial replacement process, or maybe it was just a fluke and the issue, while present at the time of the original problem, was overlooked and then fixed during the second repair but wasn't charged for or mentioned.
At the end of the day, the truck is working as it should, and I'm thankful.

Our experience with Hughes Automotive was wonderful. Wes and Lewis were kind, genuine, and very pleasant to work with. We didn’t ever feel like they were trying to take advantage and for someone who knows nothing about vehicles, feeling like you can trust the person working on your car not to lead you astray is huge. We will absolutely be using them for any automotive needs in the future!

My recent experience there was positive. Staff was great. My alignment was out pretty bad due to road debris causing uneven tire wear and they managed it.
Clean waiting area. No complaints.

Figured all my problems out, fixed what I needed and left alone what I couldn't afford. Treated my Grandmother VERY respectfully and talked loud enough for her to hear, and in terms she could understand at 70-80 years of age. Love this place. Recommended 115% to anyone looking for good honest mechanics and owners.
