Called in for a switch dock and was told they didn't have in stock. I drove to the store after finding two in stock on the website. When I get there they turned 180 degrees behind them and found it. The worker then said that they don't work as well. I never asked how well it worked I just need a dock. Leave it to gamestop to fail a simple transaction.

WORST customer service. the manager Dillon was no help at all either. This store sold me a gift card to a retailer and the card was never activated. I called to ask the retailer and was told this should have been activated in store and was unable to help me since i bought it here at GameStop. Not one person in this store tried to help, he said he’s only selling the cards wether it worked it wasn’t on them. Very unprofessional. DON’T RECOMMEND coming here unless you want them to keep your money or deal with very unprofessional customer service they don’t try to help the customer at all! Never made a negative review before but these people are greedy and I would hate for them to scam more people out their hard earned money.

This place closes early constantly, call before you go. Better yet, don’t go at all.I went Tuesday 11/21/23 and the attached picture was the sign on the door at 6:15. My first thought was why you needed to go get dinner when you close at 7pm but whatever. I waited 30 minutes because I really needed to pick up an online order, I don’t live in Cartersville. No one ever showed up.I was able to go again Sunday 11/26/23 and showed up at 7:22pm and caught the guy leaving. They’re supposed to close at 8pm. I explained my situation and he says “you’ll have to come back tomorrow” and just walked away.I’m not coming back and risking that one of these slackers closed up the store. Going to deal with corporate to have it shipped to my house. I hate to be that guy going to corporate but this is really unacceptable.

Would give a zero if could. The employees are extremely rude! The owner needs to fire that whole staff. There is another location not far go to it don't waste your time at this one.

I have been a Gamestop member since 2017 and have purchased countless items from the company, but never again will I visit this store. I purchased a PC camera on 3 November and asked what the stores return policy was. It wasSHOWN to me that the return policy on accessories was 30 days (open or unopen) return or exchange. So on the 12th of November I return the defective item to the store for a return, as I've already bought a replacement. I was informed that i could only exchange it for an identical item since it was open. The employee referred me again to the store policy on the mat in front of the registers. I asked him was this an accessory and he replied, yes, it's a PC accessory. I said that the policy in front of me says it can be returned within 30 days with receipt (which i had). He informed me that he was only doing as he was trained to do. I said that will not be acceptable as the policy is right here in front of us and this is what i was told when i made the purchase. He fumbled around for about 2 minutes reading the policy and the computer before he said "ah, it's right here ( and points to the fine print that said to refer to the front of the receipt for most current policy). Where in fact it does say that item can only be swapped. I informed him that this was not the policy i was shown when the purchase was made and again "im only doing what I'm trained to do." Here's an idea gamestop, take care of the customers that have supported you over the years. Yeah, you got over on me for $35, but how much in future revenue have you cost yourself? I was appalled at the fact that your employees would spend that much time trying to find a way to get over on a customer than take the time to actually see their side and support them. never again will i visit this location or recommend people to go here.

Would not sell me a copy of a game they had in stock. Said they only received copies for pre orders. This is why they are going out of business. I was the first customer there when they opened.Dude working there was rude and unprofessional.Went down to the target in the same parking lot and they had tons of copies on the shelf.

I'm a pro member so I at least shop once a month to use my $5 coupon. I collect pop dolls so I buy 1 a month with my $5 coupon. I don't always like there pop collection but it's not bad. I wish the Hogwarts game for Xbox one was a lil cheaper but I'll wait for a used copy. The staff at this location is always very helpful.

I’ve frequented this GameStop even when it was an EB games and have always had a decent experience but the “help” I received over phone call makes me never want to go there again.

Not a fan of the new manager. Not friendly at all. Zero people skills and honestly product knowledge isn’t great either. Left two stars because most of the rest of the staff are nice/helpful.
