Wow! What a gem of a store. Mr. Raphael
went out of his way to help select a custom frame for the painting that he made for us! We asked him to paint a chicken and this is what Raphael created. Outstanding quality and craftsmanship.

The business owner is extremely pushy and rude. If you don't make a decision on the spot, he will question your judgement and imply that you're cheap. I absolutely refuse to give him my business, ever.

I have never been in here before, although I have often driven by the place on Main Street and I'd been idly curious about what was in there. When I saw their "75% off Closeout Sale! Everything Must Go!" sign earlier this week, I figured there would never be another chance (especially at reasonable prices now, since usually art is traditionally overpriced), so I stopped by.
When I entered the shop, the owner was too busy in the back to offer a greeting, so I just started browsing. When the owner did finally deign to greet me, we chatted for a bit and it turns out that the store is closing soon, and it will become an Art Supply Store. Apparently he's getting ready to retire.
There was a lot of clutter on the shop floor, with various paintings of all shapes and sizes stacked everywhere. I browsed for a while, flipping through the multiple stacks of "floor paintings", finally finding something that interested even *me* (admittedly NOT an "art aficionado")----an oil painting of a world map, in full color; very nice, actually. The owner quoted me a price of $69 in passing as he was walking to help another customer. But when I went to the front table (what served as a sort of "checkout aisle"), he said the price was "$79"...???...I mentioned the quote of $69 earlier, but he swore he said $79...HMMMMM.
I ended up buying the piece anyway, because even at $79 it was still far cheaper than it would otherwise have been. BUT, it irked me that he lied about the price of the painting to begin with, and on top of that he kept trying to pawn other paintings off on me!! Ironically, during our chat earlier he'd deplored being in Miami at one point with an art shop, complaining how materialistic the people there were, "just seeing dollar signs" when dealing with others, YET here he was doing the *same thing* with me!!
The funny thing is, I originally came in here with the full intention of giving a favorable review, not anticipating a situation where I'd have to do otherwise. But after LYING to me about the painting price, then being hypocritically materialistic toward me after having just condemned Miami folk for supposedly doing so, I can only give him TWO Stars, and it's a stretch to do even that. Ultimately it's all a moot point, since the shop's closing down, but still, lying is lying and hypocrisy is hypocrisy, and I feel compelled to report this nonetheless...

Excellent work, great service, everything was explained carefully. It's unusual to see framed art examples of their work on their walls so I could get an idea how my unframed art work would look finished. I recommend this place.

Took my damaged/ripped Thomas Kinkade canvas to be repaired by Rafaele. He did a wonderful job - no one will notice but me! Always enjoy coming into his shop - never know what new wonderful paintings he has acquired!

I like this frame shop they were very nice and made it comfortable for me to Frame several maps I will be back, they did fine picture framing for me, I took them and hung them up, they are very impressive. Thank you for the fine work.

Frame Art has created over 20 custom frames for my family and has done an impressive job with each one. They provide excellent service when designing your frame in a variety of styles, thicknesses, finishes, and matte - selected according to your budget and design preference. The non-glare glass is worth every penny. I am so thankful to have found this great frame shop. Not only do they frame your art for you, but they also sell beautiful artwork as well. Their shop is like a museum and the staff are very helpful. They have good turnaround times too. I trust them with my artwork. Check them out!

I have bought paintings and had many old pics or art reframed...I recently broke the frame of a piece Roland recently done... even though it was my fault... roland reframed the piece for me at a very reasonable cost... Roland is reliable and dependable... his work is 5 star... and he loves his profession and respects his customers..... roland is a asset to cartersville...

Raphael is a great guy. He’s stay in good shape and health; very energetic. I came there to get three frames but talk myself down to two. When Raphael saw the 3 pictures, he decided to give me a really great deal to frame all three of them. He got it done in less than an hour. I’m very happy with the result. For anyone who can visit take take a moment to look at some of his artwork.

It was wonderful customer service he did an excellent job with choosing a frame that went great with the style and color scheme of the our drawn family portrait. Put it together cleaned everything up and had me own my way within an hour. My father loved it and I'm so happy with the results. Thank you frame art!
