I've been a customer of The Squire Shop for years but that ended after my last experience. I bought a shirt online from their website and it was from a brand I had never bought before. I looked up the shirt measurements on the corporate company website and picked the size I thought would fit. I don't know how but the shirt was 2x bigger than what I usually wear. It was an XL and when I put it on it was more like 4XL! I usually wear L or XL. I thought it wasn't a big deal because I could just exchange it for a smaller size. So I go in store 2 days later and was I sure wrong. They had a size that fit me and when I went to exchange it they said I would have to pay for the difference. The whole website was 40% off so the shirt I ordered online was regular price but it was 40% off with everything else online. In store they would only exchange it for the same exact shirt if I paid full price. So they wanted an additional $47 to exchange a shirt for the same shirt just in a different size. That is one of the WORST and craziest return policies EVER and there is nothing in their return policy that states this. As a small business owner I can't believe what horrible customer service they provided. I wasn't asking them to do anything that would cost them any money but instead just to exchange a shirt to a smaller size. They offered for me to return it but I decided against it because I thought I would give it to my dad for Christmas. He wears an XXL so I thought surely an XL shirt would fit him, again wrong, it's huge on him! So now I'm stuck with a $115 retail shirt that fits no one and a store that refuses to give any customer service that wouldn't have cost them a dime. Take your business elsewhere where you can actually exchange items that don't fit cause they most definitely won't do it here. It makes me sad to write this review as most of my favorite clothes have come from here but I can't support a business that doesn't appreciate their customers.

Bought a tie here for my son's graduation but wound up not needing it. Purchase experience was great. Sales associate was knowledgeable although they didn't have exactly what I was looking for. Purchased something "close enough". We wound up borrowing a tie from a relative instead. Return was hassle free and fast. Thank you!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Such an easy process and they made sure we had everything we wanted. The shoes were an added bonus!

We made an appt but the 3 teens/college kids working weren’t very friendly, didn’t offer to take any measurements, and dissuaded my fiancé from trying anything on. They didn’t ask him any questions about style or what he was looking for aside from color. Honestly have had more helpful encounters at a chain store. I still say shop local when you can but would encourage the staff to actually interact with potential buyers.

my boyfriend and his friend had a horrible experience. the squire shop has horrible customer service. they messed up both orders. we wanted to purchase to tuxes and we told the workers multiple times that we did not want rentals. the workers lost our initial paper work. and when we were told to pick up the tuxes (two days before prom) they told us that they were rentals. we wanted to purchase the tuxes to have as keepsakes but we have no choice but to use the rentals due to how close prom is.

The selection was okay, but the customer service was horrible. They never even did any actual measurements for my son's tux. Just had him go try in a shirt. Then when it was time to pay, I was told I only had to put down a $50 dollar deposit. I said that I would like to pay in full but specifically asked if I needed to cancel would I get everything but the deposit back. I was told, "Yes, of course." Well wouldn't you know it? We had to cancel. I called 10 days before we were scheduled to pick up the tux and explained everything. I was then told that I would only get half of my money back. Huh? I asked if I had to come in any certain time because it would be hard to match up my off days with work with their operating hours. I was told that I had 30 days from the receipt date. Plenty of time. So I'm just casually looking at Facebook and see the tux (very unique) that we had ordered in a friend's pictures. I call them the next day to see if we can just do the refund through email since we live a good ways away. I'm then told that since the tux had arrived at the store I was no longer eligible for a refund. I told them that is definitely not what I had been told. She said that it's explained in the rental contract that I signed. I told her I was holding a copy of that contract and did not see that anywhere in it and could she tell me specifically where it says that. She couldn't. I asked her if they rented the tux out to someone else then they still got their money for it so what did it matter if we got our refund. She tried to say that they didn't rent it to anyone else but stammered quite a bit when I told her I have pictures of it. All she kept saying was unfortunately that's store policy. So obviously that's just money lost and a lesson learned.

I use to love shopping here! I went with my husband to get fitted for a tux and the girls at the counter were so rude and unfriendly . They seemed annoyed with having to help us. One of the girls just glared at us from start to finish, if looks could kill. It was very disappointing as this store use to be such a small town staple, friendly and welcoming - unfortunately that is not same vibe it has anymore.

Horrible customer service!My husband went to get a tux fit, they failed to call him, so my husband called them to see what’s going on. Well that’s fine, business are busy, well when he went to pick up the Tux nothing fit, the arms, the vest, the pants nothing! The lady there had the audacity to say “we cannot cater to his body” so if you’re on the heavy side they can’t cater to you. How can you tell someone that they can’t cater to his body, I’m sorry but that’s just disrespectful.Well they said they can fix it, to come by the next day and they should have it fixed.Well I came with him right when they opened and to see if they fixed it, they did not fix anything. So the receipt says that if you didn’t not leave the store with the product you can get your refund except the $50 deposit, I told her we don’t want it because it doesn’t fit and that we can’t take it like that and to keep the deposit.The lady there said okay, can we call you with your refund after my manager gets here. I said of course, no problem.They call me and they tell me well we already paid the company that does the tux we can’t give you a refund, well I tell this person that receipt doesn’t say that, I told her it’s not my problem that you paid the company, I didn’t receive the product I needed.Nasty attitude. I used to recommend this place but not anymore.Nasty attitudes all around, I tried to be civil and they aren’t at all.They are happy to keep your money and not give a flying f** about it’s customers.

I previously liked shopping there but after a disastrous tux rental situation I won’t be shopping there at all anymore. They messed up the initial order, communicated final try on and pickup dates poorly, tried to move the final try on dates to ones I was not available and that contradicted when they initially told me the tuxes would be in (also when I was out of town which i scheduled per their expected delivery date) and then forced me to drive to Atlanta to pick up the right tuxes when they had ordered the wrong ones. So, they didn’t own their mistakes and made me do the work rather than making it right. That’s not customer service to me.
