Being from the north, Ingles Market was a pleasant surprise. The store workers were all very helpful and the selection of items was more than adequate. The only downside was being required to fill out information for a shopper's card to receive the discounts. Every other grocery store I have visited has a generic card that can be used for shoppers like me.

My daughter turned 1 today and I forgot to order a cake the day before for her party. The ladies in the bakery were so wonderful. They politely let me know I should've put in an order 24 hours in advance but then went out of their way to help pick a cake with similar colors for the party, put some extra icing decoration and wrote happy birthday. They were so kind and helpful! It absolutely made our day ❤️
