Inefficient Service and Fee DebacleI recently had a highly frustrating experience with Bank OZK regarding their Bill Pay service. After waiting for two weeks for a significant amount check to clear, I discovered that the recipient hadn't received it. I promptly placed a stop payment on the check, only to be slapped with a $35 fee. When I contested the fee, the bank reluctantly agreed to waive it "this time only." To my dismay, a week later, the same check was cashed by the recipient.Not only did the bank fail to prevent the check from going through, but it also conveniently forgot to uphold its promise to waive the fee. The lack of reliability and the subsequent inconvenience make it clear that Bank OZK is not a trustworthy institution. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable bank for your financial needs.

The new lady at the drive through will not let me deposit my pay roll check on Thursday bc it is dated for Friday. I’ve never had this problem until this new lady I understand it may be policy but I have been banking here for years without any trouble. So now I have to drive across town to the other bank ozk on Thursday which is way out of my way. All because of some new lady who had no idea how customer service works nor how her job works. Personally I think she is lazy and just doesn’t wanna do her job

If you have aging parents/grandparents then I suggest closing they close their accounts with this institution. Not only are the hours very inconvenient if you work regular hours, they have made a difficult situation unnecessarily stressful. It's difficult to watch a loved one decline in health and cognitive function and I am the power of attorney for this person. I carried out her wishes, which included managing their finances and hiring contractors to make their home more accessible. Every cent was properly accounted for.So, when Adult Protective services showed up at my home after this branch reported me for elder abuse I was shocked. There was no merit to the claim so the case was closed. I received a letter stating her account was being closed due to fraudulent activity. It's a lot of stress due to having to change automatic payments and deposits to a new bank institution. On top of this huge inconvenience they charged a transfer fee, so they could make money off this situation.Maybe this review might help save someone the stress and the additional legal fees.

System overdrafted made three separate times with no transactions and the branch manager wanted to be difficult and not believe anything i said and thought hee system was not to blame. Very unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND‼️

I’m telling anyone I know not to go to Bank OZK! They charge an overdraft as soon as the money comes out negative even when you immediately put money in your account to cover it. If you need a good bank, try CREDIT KARMA!!! They don’t charge any fees! And they have WAY more insight into your account and finances. I recommend them so much more. The manager at this Bank OZK when I was concerned about the overdraft fee, she was rude to me and I was rude back (I know) and she told me all I can do is come into the bank branch and close my account! I never said I wanted to…. But HA! That I WILL do now. Thank you for saying something with some sense. ?

Friendly Staff. I had a fraud issue. They handled my issue stress free, I was reimbursed quickly after the investigation. Within 3 weeks. Never had a bad experience with normal transactions either.

Went in to cash a check for $3900. Said they couldn't cash it. Acted like it would wipe them out. Also online banking is terrible!!
