Worked for them. They were good for a while. Mr. Morgan below is lying. The trucks are governed at the speed limit. Only way this could have happened is if he, Mr. Morgan was hindering traffic by slowing way below the speed limit over and over and then speeding up.

Davis transfer used to be an awesome company to work for. Now they have taken on split seat drivers which trash the equipment and don't care about repairs. They are rude to the customers so our customer relationships have gone south. As an owner operator there are no loads anymore. No drop and hook. They have slated everything to split seats and left nothing for the owner ops. It has become difficult to maintain your truck.

Just had one of their day cab drivers almost rear ended me on hwy 52w. He kept on backing off and getting on my rear end of the SUV. I was not about to tail gate the vehicle in front of me.

Today at 9:32am this driver abruptly moved into the middle lane from the right lane and almost wiped myself and two other cars out. No blinker either. And then he moved just as abruptly back into the right lane. I know nothing about this company but what I do know is this guy is an accident waiting to happen.

I've been at Davis for a year and I don't plan on changing companies. Excellent company. No force dispatch and always willing to work with you on scheduling your loads. BTW not a paid comment ?

You need to know basic English but they have dispatch in Spanish, very helpful.

I've been with them little over three years everyone there at Carnesville is very helpful, trying to help you. Jerry from maintenance is outstanding. He tries to keep you going. Walt Jr set me up with a bran new freightliner. For the few months, it had only one issue. Thanks walt for the nice truck. Kim in payroll. She make miracle work. That my opinion. Randy, o man. Your not going find a nice guy there. The rest of the group is number 1 in my book.Scott from Lakeland, Fl. Your ond the only good dm there that is friendly as ever.

I can only give it a 3 because of my experience. Seems like a great place to work I just had a bad dm. I would be ready for dispatch at 6am and not get a load until noon. It seems like I was sent to places that they normally don't run through. And to top it off I signed on for a run that would take me from Valdosta ga to Houston tx...I never went west of Birmingham al. But other than my experience they are the nicest people I've ever seen in a trucking company. I honestly wish I had a better experience

Ok, let's start at the perfect place, the beginning!! ??? This is a Trucking company that has been around for quite some time... They are a very fare hiring facility for truck drivers from various areas like, Florida, Georgia, Texas, NC, and SC. I really like these guys.. Friendly and helpful and just an amazing experience!! Luved it.. Good luck everyone..

Great company to drive for periodIf your gung-ho and can't roll at someone else's pace, this may not be a good fit. However I came in gun's-a-blazing eventually excepted the change of pace and Im not going anywhere until I can afford my own rig.
