I had to switch from Kroger to Publix pharmacy because of insurance but thankfully Kroger now takes my insurance again! This Publix is the worst! The pharmacy associates are very rude which apparently they should not be working with people in general if they can’t at least be respectful and friendly! Not only that but I had surgery and some other issues to where I needed my Medication asap but multiple times it takes over 6 hours to a day or 2 to fill your medication! I’m pregnant and really needed antibiotics and nausea meds and took over a day to get it! They have multiple people working there is no way it should take this long! Good look to this pharmacy you guys really need to clean out everyone and start hiring better people

Been coming to this location for a few years now. It’s very inefficient, unpredictable and seems to attract issues. The majority of the staff is nice, except Matt who threatened me once because he was “overwhelmed”. Prescriptions have been missed, others take forever to fill. Again majority of the staff is pleasant and that’s the only reason I keep going back. But, I’ll be transferring to another pharmacy effective immediately. Can’t deal with the issues any longer.

I had a bad experience at our previous pharmacy and was told the Publix one was better so we decided to give them a chance and it was the worst decision I could have ever made. Our pediatrician called in our prescription at 11AM and I called at 1PM to check the status on it and was told they couldn’t start anything until they built a profile for us yet they never once called to tell us that we had to call to get the ball rolling. They lady i spoke to had the most rude comments as if i knew that. I called again at 5PM bc we had not heard back and we were told they would have it ready by then only to find out one of the three medicines was out of stock again they did not call us we had to call to get this information. When we called they said they would have it ready by 6:30 so we go and lo and behold they were not ready. It is not almost 7:30 and we have been told repeatedly that it will be ready in 15 minutes… they could have told us from the beginning they did not have it ready and we would have put it in at another pharmacy. I cannot believe this is how you handle medicine for people who need it. Please for the love of God be upfront with people. If you do not want the business let us know from the beginning so I can go elsewhere. Please use any other pharmacy but this one

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. My daughter arrived at this Publix pharmacy to pick up antibiotics for my 4 year old granddaughter, that had already been placed by the doctors office. She got to the pharmacy at 8:35. They close at 9. She was told there was not time to fill as they close at 9. It’s for amoxicillin to treat strep throat. My daughter asked could she please fill that night so she get her the antibiotics started and not to have to drive back 30 minutes the next morning to pick up with a sick child. The lady told her she would not but she would fill it as soon as she got in the next morning. Because my granddaughter missed her meds she was feeling worse the next day. So I drove 45 minutes to pick it up. Once I arrived at the pharmacy I was told it would not be ready until 10:30. Ridiculous!We have no problems with FreeHome or Midway Publix. If this is a staffing issue, hire more help. I also found the lady that “assisted” me to be very salty and snarky.Do better Riverstone!

My mother had a total knee replacement. The doctor called in a pain medicine the same day of surgery. I called to make sure it would be ready for pick up and the guy that answered was extremely rude and not willing to have it ready the same day… how is someone supposed to be without pain medicine for a total knee replacement. Absolutely unbelievable.

It makes me sad to see Publix caving to the masses . Their customer service has suffered. To be standing in line at the deli at noon with only one very overworked associate waiting on customers by herself is not what they used to be .

Oh great I just transferred a medication from another pharmacy. That was yesterday….hadn’t heard nothing. I just got on Medicare last month. What a hassle with Medicare prescription insurance. I think I’ll just go back to Costco pay a little more and avoid the hassles.

Unreasonable and persistent delays with prescription refills. Staff seem nice but there is clearly something wrong here. I’m still waiting, after almost a week, for a common prescription to be filled.

Very SLOW service; doctor calls in prescription and it takes days to fill. Prescriptions at refill time are not refilled despite them saying they are on auto-refill. “Glitch” in system. Ha! Last refill took. 6 days of being out of meds and both Doctor and me calling to get refilled. Publix is a waste of time for Pharmacy needs

This Publix pharmacy must be horribly mismanaged. It takes hours to get an urgent prescription filled, assuming they have the meds in stock which they often don’t. I’m on my fourth day waiting for a non-critical prescription and every time I call they say it’s an hour more. The CVS at Target appears to be just as busy but I can get an urgent one filled in less than an hour and never longer than a few hours. I’ve noted that the Publix pharmacy has more folks than CVS so it isn’t a ‘number of employees’ issue either.

Michelle very rude!!!! Be a little nicer, you never know what people are going thru when picking up medication.
