If you are a bourbon drinker STEER CLEAR from this place, especially if you are just getting into collecting and may not know fair pricing. The markup is astronomical, for instance Buffalo Trace $75, Jack Daniels 12 year $600. Gouging people who don’t know any better isn’t my opinion of good business qualities. There are plenty of other local liquor stores that offer great bottles at fair pricing.

Owner charges 4% on all credit or debit cards, you lost a customer and will tell others

$60 for a $30 bottle of Buffalo Trace. PLUS the silly 4% credit card fee, which no other liquor store I’ve ever been to in Georgia has. To top it off, they had to pull the bottle from the back, and the lady gave me a bottle of weller in the bag I didn’t realize until I got to the car. Haven’t been back since

Good selection, but non-existent customer service. I have had several different employees, as well as the owner, check me out at the register, and no one has made any attempt at friendliness, or even polite behavior.
Hickory Liquor is very close to where I live, and has an excellent selection of bourbons, but don’t go there expecting to be treated decently.

High prices, 20% higher than my regular store. Absolutely no knowledge staff on any product and cap that with a 3.9% penalty for paying with a card. WHAT? who pays with cash? A B.S. usury fee. Never again.

Be careful at the register in this store. Today they charged me 27.55 for a bottle labeled 21.99. I didn’t care about the three dollar difference and suggested to the clerk that the label on the shelf should be updated to reflect the actual price to avoid future hassles. He said it was the sales tax and 3.99 fee that made it that price. It’s very easy math to do—6 percent tax plus 3.99 card fee is right at 10 percent,. 21.99 plus 10 percent is 24.19–I knew what the price should be before I even got to the register. I again told him I didn’t care about the three dollars and was just trying to help him out. I asked the clerk to double check the math with a calculator and he kicked me out of the store. A relatively new employee just lost you guys a 10 year customer who has spent thousands upon thousands in your store all because I was trying to give you a heads up on your shelf labels.

You just lost a regular customer today 2/24/24 600 PM 15 minutes ago. Yes you are convenient to us and we are drinkers and entertain a lot, We have a great ranch right down lower Union Hill Rd across the street from you guys and we spend 200-300 a week in there but no more! I have asked 2 times to order some special bourbon and the answer was no both times but I walk into Sherlocks in Marietta who I do NO business with and boom I picked it up in 2 days! That so called red headed manager in your shop is worthless and she is doing nothing but eating Pizza or wings in her chair hidden behind the Bacardi display half the time I go in there which is 2 times a week. Today was the last straw! Our Regular Liquor has been out for 2 weeks but everyone else has it!! Your management is just not Re-ordering and monitoring the shelves. To put icing on the cake the 2 Indians or whatever they are working there this afternoon can't speak a work of English because I was begging them to order our regular stuff. Service like this makes me want to open up a store right beside you and compete! I could care less about the prices or the credit card fee I like convenience but you will never get another nickel from us!! Bradley Conlon former loyal customer.

Price gouging that probably isn't even legal!
When it was hard to find something they were charging $75 for a $30 retail bottle of Crown Blackberry. I used to go here all the time but will drive further for all my liquor needs in the future.BTW- just found out Total Wine has the same bottle of Crown Blackberry for $28!!!! I paid $75. Should be illegal.

If you’re hoping to get allocated and hard to find stuff here at a decent price, be wary. The owner of this store is clearly trying to fleece customers when trying to sell
Sazerac Rye 6yr and Willet 4yr Straight Rye for over 3x asking. The cashier also showed me a Weller Special Reserve, Weller Full Proof, and Weller Antique 107 in a bundle that would’ve cost close $1000.00. This is well above secondary at best not to mention way above MSRP.
