The owner is incredibly rude. I called with an inquiry about an acquaintance's vehicle at their shop during the week, and the possibility of me removing it for them. They had chosen not to repair it, and he almost seemed pleasant as he confirmed he had been paid up for the work they did perform. Several days later, on a Sunday(!), he called when I was unable to answer and left a profanity-laced voicemail, apparently angry at both the fact that I hadn't answered (while I was busy!), and the fact that I had not made a move to remove the car (as I had to wait on the acquaintance). He threatened to have it towed off, which is illegal without following the proper abandoned vehicle procedures. I was just trying to help someone and this man, if you can call him that, chose to berate a total stranger over the phone. I would never choose to do business with someone who behaves this way and has such a short temper, and I absolutely recommend people go somewhere else if you want to be treated fair and courteous.

Darren and his employee are nice guys, very friendly will have conversations with you as they work if you don't want to sit around just waiting. He has done multiple maintenance work on my vehicle. I believe he very fair and cheaper than many of the other automotive repair shops around. Always get quotes but I bet he will be their prices.Services: Electrical repair

My Work Van Broke Down Last Week on 575, I called this shop and they gave me a town truck number to get it to the shop and they fix it the next day! And it was 8 pm!!! Great way to do things!!

Hays Mobile Auto Repair did a great job on my '99 Ford Ranger. My truck looks good, engine runs good but my front suspension was shot and in need of serious repair. Being 20 years old with 180k plus miles, I was concerned about putting too much into it. I'm so glad that I took it to Hays. Now my truck handles like new again and Mr Hays was very fair on the repair cost. Excellent job !!!

Daren is a nice guy. I have used him before without issue and he has been reasonable in the past. This review however is for most recent which was absolutely horrible treatment.I told him from the start I didn't want to spend a lot on this and to let me know before he did any work what all was going to be involved. I left it with him for nearly 2 months. Twice he told me it would be ready and still was not. Numerous times I asked for a estimate and he would not give it to me just saying '"it won't be much" He ended up doing a bunch of work I did not ask him to do. When i told him that his response was ' well it was overdue for service and is like new now" To top it off he broke a part and needed to replace it and then charged me for the labor.When i told him I absolutely had to have a general ballpark estimate he told me $200. When he finally finishes with it he tell me $537 more than double the verbal ballpark. When I told him that was nowhere near what he told me his response was " oh that initial price was just parts"
