I called ahead to make an appointment for blonde highlights for a wedding that I was attending. If the highlights were successful, then I was going to recruit the other girls in the wedding to this salon . when I arrived at the salon, I was greeted by a very sweet girl that was not my hairstylist. Then the hairstylist came to the chair. She looked close to 15 years old? I told her that I was here to have my highlights done , and she told me that she cannot do my highlights. She has never done highlights before this was the first time she was on the floor. She had to consult with the owner via phone on how to do my highlights for 45 min, and left me in the chair the entire time? I was very confused and baffled that they would have somebody on the floor that has no experience at all to do somebody's highlights . I asked her if I could speak to the owner She said yes, and handed me the phone The owner said that they cannot do my highlights ,because my hair was already blonde ? Basically, I needed my highlights done for a wedding as I had done my roots two weeks prior with a base color . The salon was so unprofessional They wasted my time that I had put aside to have the treatment done, which was not done . She left for 45 minutes talking to the boss leaving me in the chair Then she came back and said she could only do one little strip of highlights on the top of my head . Like a skunk, but charging me for a full head?? I asked her , do you really think that that's going to look good for somebody's wedding? I will look like a skunk.! At that point I decided to go down the street to "Mood Salon" They were very welcoming The place was amazing They did my highlights beautifully and they treated me like gold. I will definitely be returning to Mood Salon. I would not recommend Bloom hair design And if I could give them a zero I would, but I had to give them 1

I was very impressed by Bloom and my stylist, Audrey. I immediately felt comfortable by her knowledge of the product and style when I asked her what to do with my very long, unruly hair. I am so happy with the way my hair turned out. I will definitely be back. Oh, and her shampoos are amazing. Seriously. It’s the first time in years that I’ve been to a salon and actually enjoyed the shampoo. It was like being at a spa!

Had the best haircut and color I've ever had in my life! My stylist (Gabrielle) was amazing and made sure i was comfortable the entire way through! I've always struggled to find a salon that was able to match what i was asking for in my hairstyle and this experience takes the cake! I think this is the first time a stylist didn't cut it shorter than what I've asked for and was able to match the vibe of the cut as well (which has always been a struggle for someone with shorter to mid-length hair). My stylist even noticed the toner I had was lighter at the ends compared to my roots since I had bleach before that, and instead of letting me leave with it going unnoticed, she gave another round of toning on the house to make sure it was exactly the color it needed to be!! Excellent customer service, and as a first timer to this salon who has had to jump around a lot and eventually resorted to cutting and dying it herself, I will actually be sticking around as long as I'm in town!

I’ve been with Bloom from the beginning and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! Everyone here is so kind, thoughtful and talented- and you can feel that positive energy in the overall vibe of the salon. Chelsey and Jana listen to what you’re looking for while making suggestions and doing all they can to reach your style goals. I’m always happier after leaving Bloom!

I had a consultation with a very nice gentleman because the two young ladies on the desk recommended him for what I needed. I explained that what I need and he seemed to know exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, he didn't and I was very disappointed. Especially when I have thick curly hair that he blow dried and left. My hair requires to be flat ironed otherwise looks awful. Well he didn't even have a flat iron with his station and when I asked him he looked like a deer in head lights. I was so upset walking out of the salon because my hair looked awful. You want to go out of a salon feeling good. I Absolutely did not! There were a lot of young ladies who looked very talented hair stylists I have no idea why they matched me with the young man and not them. I guess I will never know. I couldn't say how I felt when leaving and I even left him a tip. I was way too embarrassed.

I am blessed to be the mother of the two amazing BloomHairDesign owners Jana Tillman & Chelsey Wilkes. It is a place I always look forward to going to, not only to see my girls but the services they provide and the excellence in all they do there and the atmosphere is like none other. Chelsey cuts my hair once every 5 weeks and she never disappoints ! I transitioned years back from color to my natural grey (white) which Jana did for me and it was the easiest transition. Not exaggerating at all, anytime I go anywhere, without fail, I get compliments on my hair and I’m always proud to brag on BloomHairDesign. ❤️
Stylist: Chelsey Wilkes is my youngest daughter and stylist and she strives for perfection with every snip of the shears and she never fails to please me and that’s not an easy task. Haha!

Cute shop that I pass on a daily basis so decided to make appointments to get my wife and my hair colored. Got to my appointment the next week and was told that the color I wanted couldn’t be done by whom I booked with (I told them over the phone what I wanted when I booked). So I made an appointment for the following week with someone else. My wife stayed to get her hair done. Her stylist left sick while she was under the heat lamps and had her scalp burned because no one came to check on her. Another stylist who was extremely nice finished her hair, although it was not close to the color she was wanting. I came in to get my hair done the next week and wanted my hair silver. I was told it could be done in one sitting no problem. I said I dont want blonde hair! When my hair was finished, it was blonde and I was told I had to come back for multiple sessions to get it that color. That was totally opposite of what I was originally told. Everyone was nice, but i feel I was lied to. It was a waste of my time, money, and now we are going on vacation with a hair color I did not want.
I feel like after your experience we should have been offered for our hair to be done right or at least a discount since the color was so far off what we wanted in both pictures. Obviously they care more about $$ than making things right or having repeat customers. Posted pics below of the yellow/blond my hair turn red out compared to the picture I provided.

I’ve been going to Tori to get my hair cut and colored for about a year. Not only is she always warm and friendly, but she listens and is attentive to all your hair goals. I highly recommend her! Tori is the best!

Bloom is the best and so is Chelsey! I have problem hair and Chelsey has transformed my hair and made me appreciate it more! She takes her time, listens, and offers options. She will lend a her own expertise, but allows you to make your own decisions. My two friends who also see Chelsey, call Bloom Hair Salon, “the happiest place on earth!” Everyone is nice, kind, and so welcoming. The products they use are the best for your hair and scalp! They have made such a difference in my hair. Best. Salon. Everrrr!!!! ??♀️??♀️?

I told my stylist I wanted grey hair. Ended up with blonde which I absolutely told them I didn't want. Nothing was done to rectify the situation other than told to come back and pay full price to get it fixed. You get what you get at bloom whether it's what you wanted or not!

Great hair cut. BUT color was exactly what I said I DIDNT WANT. I made my disappointment clear. No offer to correct. 5 stars for blunt cut, 1 star for color. Got my color corrected the next day at a different salon that will be my mainstay from now on.
