Best vet and office staff in canton. Hands down!!! Our puppy Saban had an emergency and we showed up at the office and they got us right in and made everything amazing. Very affordable and didn't try to force things that weren't necessary. We will forever be thankful and grateful for them and we highly recommend them to anyone how needs their fur babies seen.

The most friendly knowledgeable and helpful group I've come across in many years. I came to them after another vet center misinformed about 1 of my dogs and did not treat properly for him that led to him going onto doggie heaven. I brought my other dog to them and they were extremely thorough informative and loving too! They not only provide the best care for my dog, they showed compassion for me personally during a difficult time. It's the little things like that makes these Doctors and staff exceptional.

I have a vaccine fragile cat. Dr. Marrison takes every precaution to pre-medicate her to prevent any adverse reaction. This time the pre medication didn’t work. Thank God for a great vet who realized Maggie was having a reaction and gave the medications to relieve the reaction.

Our two pups have been cared for by AMSC since they were months old. Now 4 years old, the doctors, assistants, techs and staff continue to always provide A1 service! We are grateful for the recent diagnosis, assessment, treatment and recovery plan which was all spot on! Thank you Dr Kim Crosslin, well done. Lexi is herself again!!!! Looking forward to their continued care.

Animal Medical & Surgical has been wonderful this past week with our three animals! Dr. Angela Duprell is amazing and takes time with our feather baby and two fur babies! Our dog was injured seriously when she was bitten by a brown recluse spider. We were at VG on July 4, but wanted to follow up with another vet as they weren’t sure if she would need surgery. We were seen immediately our concerns were addressed, prescriptions were filled so that she would have enough pain pills to last her. Was very impressed with the staff and the doctor.

Lucy, Kitty & Nash love everybody who helps them at AMSC Canton! Lucy loves getting her grooming and nails done here; Kitty likes watching all the goings-on outside the big windows when she boards and Nash didn't complain when he got his puppy vaccinations the other day. We are moving out of state soon and hope we can find a practice that we are as confident in as AMSC. They're terrific!
⬆️The above was something I wrote in 2017 before we moved to California and later to Tennessee. We found an awesome vet in SoCal and had a good practice in TN. And now we have moved back to Canton for good and I’m thrilled we could just pick up at AMSC again like we were never away! There are a few new faces after 7 years, but many familiar ones and the same feeling that my pets are loved and looked after with the utmost care every visit. Kitty suddenly developed a concerning and mysterious respiratory situation and the doctor was able to figure out the cause in a single visit after asking me a whole bunch of questions (plastic mites in the large plastic container of treats I had bought a couple weeks prior!) and Lucy and Nash have each had their check-ups, shots, pearly whites cleaned and a few “maintenance” things while under anesthesia. We are so confident in the care they receive here at AMSC and would recommend them again and again!

We love everyone at AMSC. Seventeen years of care from the practice to four different pets. Each one treated with professional knowledge, made diagnosis and treatment effective. We will continue to take our pets to them for care.
