I used this bank for years. When they changed to Ameris, they said my account number no longer worked and that rather than update it I would have to open a new account- so I did, at a different bank! When I went back in to close my Ameris account, they acted surprised and said that what I was told about the account numbers wasn't even true! Too late! Really stellar service!

My identity was stolen and your fraud dept emails helped prevent any funds being taken from my accounts. At my branch, the manager, Stephanie, and Jesus handled all the things that were needed to close my existing accounts and opening new ones. It appears they hacked my online banking app so that was also taken care of by your professional staff. I have been a customer with the Marietta highway Canton branch for 12 yrs. Since Ameris has been the owners, the security has slowly improved and hopefully nothing like this will happen again. Thank you!!

Staff at the Canton location have been knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Having a variety of scenarios and transactions, it has been a pleasure to have Emily Phillips and her staff facilitate in-person and phone transactions. They respond in a timely manner to calls and emails. While banking ultimately comes down to best rates and lowest fees for most, value can be found here by the added level of customer service, attention to customer relationships and variety of products and services offered.

I was more than pleased with the service I recently received from the employees at Ameris Bank, Hwy. 5, Canton, Georgia!I needed to update a CD, but suffering from Covid I could not go to the bank. They worked with me, sent papers by email for me to sign and return! Took a load of worry off my shoulders, a load I didn't need with the aches and pains of Covid. Kudos to the ladies at Ameris Bank!

I just moved up from Valdosta to Canton and I had lost my wallet. I Coach and teach a lot of kids in the Cherokee area and I needed access to my money to buy stuff for my students and players. Mrs. Phillips help me find identification and Emily Phillips stepped in and saved the day. I would have been stranded if it wasn’t for her wise council and help. This made banking with Ameris a safe and easy transition. She was very helpful, nice and great personality. It made the stressful day at ease. I would advise everyone to bank there up under her leadership I feel very confident about my financial future there. Thanks again Emily you were very knowledgeable and demonstrated the best service.

Horrible, people are so unprofessional and the close too early, they close at 4:00 PM, most people don’t get off work until 5:00PM
