The ladies in the store are very nice and friendly: Mr. Haney, not so much. If you can get past his "blowing you off" attitude, he does great repair work at a reasonable cost.

I had my ring resized there. Very reasonable and the turnaround was quick. Excellent work. The owner was very nice. I had a nice chat with him when I picked my ring up. I definitely recommend.

I have never been treated so barbaric as I was at this junky business. I carried a ring in to have it appraised. Upon entering the store I guess it was Haney, what can I do for you , I said I would like for you to look at this ring. His reply I do not have time to fool with you I have people who trade with me waiting. I said im sorry he said I know you are. A simple I’m busy can’t do it now would have been much nicer and I would have understood. I can’t believe anyone is that sarcastic but if you think I’m not correct go in and receive a warm welcome.

I came to Haneys to get a ring cleaned and had the best experience with Mr. Haney! He was so kind and knowledgeable, and had my ring done and ready the next day! I will definitely be returning for any future needs and can’t recommend them enough!

Dropped my wedding set off in May to get get repaired since the band broke and was told it would be done in 2 weeks on May 23rd. Simple rejoining of the band is all. The date rolled around and no call so I stopped in one day. At first they couldnt even find my ring and then finally Mr Haney said oh yeah it's on my desk, I'll get to it and call when it done. 2 MONTHS went by and I called to check on it. Same thing, we will get to it when we get to it. I said well it's been 2 months when do you think that will be. He said that week. Still no call and it's almost been 2 weeks. I've had it, this is terrible terrible business. No calls, no updates, not even any excuses. Never had issues in the past here but things have went down hill and I won't be going back.

I took 15 carats of family diamonds into this local jewelry store to be appraised. I made an appointment weeks in advance for the appraisal. I was told that it would take up to 10 business days. As the date approached, I called to check in and was told in a very snippy tone by Mrs. Haney "we said we'll call you when it's ready". At 14 business days now, my husband called today to check on the jewelry. These items are irreplaceable and very special. When my husband simply asked for a date that the jewelry would be done over the phone, Mr. Haney rudely told my husband that it sounds like he can't make us happy and we can come pick up the jewelry. So, my husband went to pick up the jewelry with the job not complete. When you agree to appraise jewelry, especially valuable family jewelry, it is expected that you do it quickly and with respect to the owner. I hate to say it, but I believe it's time for the Haneys to retire. They have become increasingly rude and difficult to deal with. I believe in supporting local business, but I advise to take your business elsewhere.
