Was good until recently. They put all the good stuff on their auction site leaving the junk. Until they stop putting the good items on their auction site, just throw your stuff away instead of "donating".

Welcome to your neighborhood Calhoun goodwill. Where you will find 80% of what we sale is clothes but do not ask to use the dressing room. Because we're not going to hire anybody or spend the money to clean up a dressing room. Because that would take money out of our pockets.and you all know how greedy we are already.we basically get stuff giving to us and we make 100% profit and then we charge more than other thrift stores and to top it off we really don't give to any good causes like the other thrift stores in town that actually have dressing rooms and if that's not bad enough we are going to ask for your change at the register like a panhandler. How pathetic. Honestly I would be ashamed to be a manager at a place like this but hey who cares about the good people of calhoun who support us as long as I get my money every week. Sincerely manager. Not really.?

I always come here. On Mondays they have items for 99 cents. How can you beat that on clothing?

Yall need to calm down with these prices. Seen a blanket for $40. A USED no frills blanket. It's a good thing yalls "mission" is putting people to work because when everybody starts going elsewhere, yall gonna need it. I won't step foot back into the store. Vote with your money and they'll start listening.Take your donations to the local Voluntary Action Center. Do your thrift shopping with them. Way better prices and all their profits stay in the community to actually help others.

While I shop Goodwill weekly, I must agree with what most are saying “ Goodwill has become overpriced “I often look up the item online and will find it cheaper new vs Goodwills used price. A lot of people are now beginning to boycott the establishment, and if things don’t change, I too will begin looking elsewhere

I'm being generous just because I love their staff and 99 cent day.... some things have stickers from their previous sale on them and goodwill jacked up their prices A LOT. Shoes bought from there dont last long, but they are pretty. I love going on Mondays though because of it being 99 cent day on items a certain color. That is when you get the good deals. I can spend HOURS in there and not see everything! Lol

Prices are too high. They are charging as much as a product would cost if it were new. Good selection and friendly employees.

These prices are getting way out of hand….. I saw a $90 price tag on a USED microwave that, I should remind you, was donated to them for FREE. I looked up the microwave and they are charging more than what it sells for BRAND NEW. Y’all are wild. Figure it out. I still visit this store, but I find myself buying less and less because of these laughably bad prices…..

They have gone up in there prices. My mom bought some things and the guy at the register said the total was $13.40 and I had noticed that he had added a penny to donate. Donate where? He didn’t even ask. So, I asked him what that was about. He told me I don’t do it if your paying with credit or debit but if you pay with cash and you “Look” like you can afford it, I take a penny out and donate it. He said I’m sorry, I forgot to ask you. He said don’t worry you’ll still get the correct change back. ? I was so confused. Never heard of that before. He’s just taking a penny out of the register every time someone pays with cash and looks like they can afford it? Has this happened to anyone else? Bigger white guy sitting at the register with a squared haircut and glasses.

Large variety of clothes, housewares novelty items and kitchenware. They had the color of the week at 50% off. Check out had 2 open lanes. Probably could have used another lane open. The utensils were in the top bin and a mess. I was unable to look thru them without the knives falling at my feet! Dangerous. A lower bin more spread out would remedy the inability to look and purchase any of the very useful items without the danger of harm. I would love to have THIS GW near me in Kentucky.

I will probably never return. After searching through clothes. I picked out 3 items to try on only to discover that I wasn't allowed to try them on! I decided to buy them hoping they fit. Guess what? They didn't! 3 items basically trash to me & I lost $25!!! Very upset!Update: You reply with you'll give my money back in a gift card? To what, your store? That's ridiculous. Open the dressing rooms. No one likes to shop for clothes & not try them on before buying. Like I said, ridiculous. Will not shop here again...
