Used to be a great Goodwill when you could try on clothes. I visited one in Florida where you still can and it was great! Open back up dressing rooms!!
And that’s why your sales will decrease. Who wants to pay for super used clothing that they can’t even try on first and then are obligated to buy and can’t get a full refund back, only a goodwill gift card that has to be used there?? No one.
Big thumbs down on this!!!

I shop here weekly. There is an employee that has been there quite a while. This person came from the employee looking like they were sleepwalking, eyes closed and then barely open, walking off balance. Immediately I was looking at an end cap and a porcelain doll tumbled off and when I caught it, it cut my hand. Both legs were broken off and sharp metal was protruding. I decided to take it up front so a child wouldn’t get hurt. You would know, it was the half asleep, staggering employee. I politely said “ this doll fell and cut my hand as I caught it, and it might need to throw it away so a child doesn’t get hurt”. The response was to reach out, grab it, and slam it in the trash. No words spoken unless you count glaring eyes.

I don’t want you corporate people giving some comment about what you use your funds for on this review. I’m going to say…. The overpriced items in this goodwill are ridiculous. Let’s talk about pricing for just a second…. Goodwill is trying to combat resellers online and keep all of the funds for themselves. Let’s talk about resellers for a second. A reseller is going to price an item based on the condition and size of the item. Greed is the word of the day. Goodwill can state that they use the money for their job training but let’s talk about that for a second as well. Job training. You mean paying people minimum wage to sell your donated items at a little under retail prices and say you’re doing something for someone! That’s rubbish and it’s very simply corporate greed.

Was good until recently. They put all the good stuff on their auction site leaving the junk. Until they stop putting the good items on their auction site, just throw your stuff away instead of "donating".

Welcome to your neighborhood Calhoun goodwill. Where you will find 80% of what we sale is clothes but do not ask to use the dressing room. Because we're not going to hire anybody or spend the money to clean up a dressing room. Because that would take money out of our pockets.and you all know how greedy we are already.we basically get stuff giving to us and we make 100% profit and then we charge more than other thrift stores and to top it off we really don't give to any good causes like the other thrift stores in town that actually have dressing rooms and if that's not bad enough we are going to ask for your change at the register like a panhandler. How pathetic. Honestly I would be ashamed to be a manager at a place like this but hey who cares about the good people of calhoun who support us as long as I get my money every week. Sincerely manager. Not really.?

I always come here. On Mondays they have items for 99 cents. How can you beat that on clothing?

Yall need to calm down with these prices. Seen a blanket for $40. A USED no frills blanket. It's a good thing yalls "mission" is putting people to work because when everybody starts going elsewhere, yall gonna need it. I won't step foot back into the store. Vote with your money and they'll start listening.Take your donations to the local Voluntary Action Center. Do your thrift shopping with them. Way better prices and all their profits stay in the community to actually help others.
