“The best part of our out of state move was getting an entire tractor-trailer to ourselves for almost the same price that other companies were offering a 26-foot truck. It even included our riding mower!Angelo gave us our nonbinding estimate over video chat. He answered my questions over the phone and responded quickly and patiently to my text messages.The estimate was very accurate (the final number is calculated by actual weight), especially considering we added furniture after the estimate had been done.Moving day was very efficient. We had packed all of our boxes by ourselves. The moving team handled our belongings with care, and all of the furniture was wrapped well. We have not noticed any damage. There was no written list of items they packed onto the truck because we weren’t sharing it with anyone else.When we arrived, Terence and the truck had beaten us here, and they had already unloaded the lawn mower. It took less than 2.5 hours to unload. We started at 11:15, and some of the moving companies would have charged us for the “late start”, but simple moving solutions didn’t.Overall it was a great experience, and I highly recommend them.”

“I must say my experience with this U-Haul location was absolutely amazing. The best ever and I rent from U-Haul all the time. I just recently relocated to this area and drove by this place as I was headed home. I saw the sign & that’s how I found them. It’s right next to the CVS & there is a sign at the end of the driveway. I reserved online & ran into a little miscommunication with U-Haul but Ken immediately sprung into action. He made sure everything was taken care of to my satisfaction. I always rent from U-Haul via the website and they are known for allowing you to make a reservation and then they’ll call you talking about the truck is not available at the location we’ll have to send you to another location yada yada ya… I understand sometimes it’s beyond their control because people will rent a truck agreeing to bring it back in 5hrs and end up bringing it back in 10hrs. Usually there is no empathy for the customer from U-Haul when this happens but with Ken it’s different. He really empathizes with his customers and you can tell that he cares about his customer’s experience. He is the absolute best! My husband said you can tell he’s not in it just for the money. Thank God for ppl like him. I was honestly thinking about renting from Penske due to my recent experiences with U-Haul back in Atlanta but decided to try U-Haul one last time since it was so close to my new home and I am so glad I did. Ken really changed my mind about U-Haul and I recommend anyone needing a U-Haul in Macon to use this location. I will only be using this location going forward while I’m in Macon. But the only thing that we can honestly say is that we are sorry we did not contact them first. Their service was superb, from our first conversation with them until the pick up of the truck after we had unpacked it. They were outstanding with timeliness, customer service, pick up and delivery.
