We did the Fundamentals of Natural Dog Behavior Workshop in October of 2021. The experience was great and I really recommended US Canine to anyone to who asked.I wanted to further my dogs training, so I summited an inquiry via their website where I briefly explained what I wanted to work on with my dog. Amy reached out immediately to try to get me to schedule a $100.00 evaluation (which I was fine with ofc), but I wanted to know about their pricing structure before I committed to an evaluation. After asking twice, it turns out US Canine is ONLY offering the Immersion Program at this time ($4,995.00 per dog.) There is no one-one-one training, no workshops, and no in-home visits. This information is not listed on their website, so please be aware before you pay for the evaluation.

I can't speak highly enough about US Canine! Angie and Josh are fantastic mentors and their program is top of the line with an experience you can't find anywhere else. The behavior in our dog has exponentially improved since being apart of their program. We are so happy to have found US Canine to help us understand our dog and improve our lives together.

I'm hesitant to leave a bad review because they were very nice, but ultimately they charged me $100 without offering any substantive service or advice. I went in for an evaluation after someone recommended US Canine to me.My dog has a lot of anxiety which has occasionally led to aggressive behavior, and I wanted to address this. It should be noted that US Canine's website specifically mentions social anxiety, dog/human anxiety, and fears and phobias as behaviors that may be addressed by their program. However, during the evaluation (which did not involve anything aside from sitting there and talking whilst my anxious dog hid under a bench), I was told that my dog wasn't a good fit for their program and that in effect there is nothing that can be done to change the way she reacts to situations and that the issue can only be managed by controlling the way humans behave around her. This I have already been doing and really isn't useful advice. One of my most significant challenges is finding care for my dog when I am out of town since she is very stressed staying in any boarding/vet facility and will not typically allow anyone but family members into my home if I am not there. I have tried more than once to introduce her to different dog sitters who were extremely patient and aware of the situation, but still to no avail. The trainer at US Canine said that it would be possible for a dog sitter to take care of her if I found the right one who knew how to approach her correctly, so I asked for a recommendation. He recommended a service, but it only serves a very small area which does not include where I live, so this was not useful to me either. Now, let me be clear; I do appreciate that US Canine told me during the evaluation that they couldn't help rather than having me pay thousands of dollars only to be disappointed. This is why I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1. However, everything we discussed could have been easily communicated over the phone, and considering the exorbitant prices they charge for services, there is no excuse to charge $100 to tell me that you can't do anything.Edit: In response to the notion that my dog has an auto-immune disorder, she does not, and I never indicated this. My dog has kidney disease which is well managed with treatment and she has all her vaccines. In fact, my vet, who is entirely familiar with my dog’s medical situation, was the one who recommended US Canine to me.That said, I do understand completely if you are not comfortable caring for a dog with this medical situation. My issue is that I communicated my dog’s medical situation prior to scheduling an evaluation and was told that you would be able to handle her treatment. I would not have gone in for an evaluation had I been told otherwise. Perhaps there was just a lapse in communication though, and I appreciate the offer of a refund and will be more than willing to change my review if a refund is provided.

Angie the owner and "trainer" is incredibly unprofessional and abusive to her workers. Sure, she'll kick your dog into submission but the one's actually taking care of him/ her are underpaid, overworked and verbally berated at every turn. It's about time someone sued her for all she's scammed her clients out of.Re: The owners response.I’ve never worked here and wouldn’t want to. She overcharges clients for walks and baths they never received if she feels she can get away with it. Sorry your business is tanking Angie. You don’t need to exploit workers and clients to make money. Try being a good person. ?♀️

Angie and her team couldn't be more amazing! It's true that she's the dog psychologist... she just sees them and knows what makes each individual dog tick. We took our dog there after he bit 3 people (no major bites) and he's been such an amazing boy since! He loves all people and he has even started to live kids (which he didn't like prior to training and our daughter was 1 at the time). She and her team taught us how to behave around our dogs to show them we were the leaders and training tips that we could use going forward. My sister's dog had major prey drive and she attacked one of our dogs to the point of almost killing her if we hadn't intervened (she needed 2 surgeries to repair her wounds). We required my sister to go to training with U.S. Canine after that because we had a young baby and the attack only happened after our dog made a big pitched bark. Her dog is a different dog now and we have actually started to trust her completely. She no longer reacts to other dogs and she's much better about jumping on people and pulling on her leash. We recommend U.S. Canine to everyone and are about to take out new dog there.

I was honestly at the end of my rope with my dog’s behavior. I had no idea what to do. I’m so thankful for Josh and Angie. They take the time to get to know you and your dog and offer individualized help. They put their all into helping people learn so they and their dogs can have a happier life. Shadow still has his tendencies, but I am much better equipped to handle him. However there have also been several noticeable changes. Their methods work. Period. I had tried other training routes that yielded no results. Be aware going in that it will require you to work and make the changes, but if you love your dog it’s so worth it. Because again, it works. They know what they’re doing. I’m so grateful for US Canine because I know that shadow and I will always have a place to go where his behavior is understood and handled.

We had a terribly behaving dog, what Angie the owner, referred to as a “spicy corgi”. He would bite and misbehave constantly. A few months after us canine he is a completely different dog. He is incredibly nice, obedient and loves to cuddle now. The only negative thing that I can say is that it’s expensive but worth it if your dog is misbehaving.

Our dog, Chaco, has been through several trainings in the Atlanta metro area and US Canine was the only location that actually helped his anxiety and trust towards people. Josh, Angie, and Joey have shown us no matter what situation they are handed, they will work through it and not only help your dog gain trust but you as well. They are far and away the most knowledgeable people when it comes to dogs. We without a doubt will always use US Canine for any and everything our dog needs! Couldn’t be happier with the results of the Immersion Training for our Chaco! Highly recommend!!

to start, Joey C and Josh W are amazing trainers and will treat your dog as their own while also getting you on the way to being able to correct and maintain your dog on your own. however, i would not recommend US canine unless you have absolutely nowhere else to go. as a former employee, the workplace conditions and atmosphere are intolerable and absolutely infuriating. not to mention that as a kennel technician, my job description was involuntary expanded to many other things causing the workload to be entirely too much due to a lack of employees and a lack of care for employees. we cared very deeply for all of the animals we came in contact with but we did not receive any respect or gratitude regardless of how exhausted we all were. this is a “my way or the highway” establishment. there are places that can take much better care of your furry friend that are legitimate, cleaner, safer, and a whole lot more understanding and welcoming. please learn to be open to criticism because this is the only healthy way your business will progress. if you listen to any review, please let it be this one. thank you!

Amazing! Best word to describe it. I was scared to let my dog out of the truck at our evaluation for fear he would bite someone. Now I take him on daily walks around the neighborhood and he does great! Thanks so much Josh and Angie! Well worth the money!!

I hope their new facility is cleaner than their previous one, they completely destroyed the building, allowed it to get overrun with rats, cheated the elderly retiree that depended on this building for income out of the deposit and left the facilty with $50k+ in damage and unusable, they're not good people.

Thanks to US Canine, Bubby is a different dog. He knows how to relax into his canineness now and looks to us for leadership. We ended up at US Canine after rescuing a yellow lab who’s generally great, but has some intolerable quirks that could be harmful. He was probably a backyard breeder dog who wasn’t properly socialized. We went through the immersion program together (Bubby stayed on-site, and we attended training sessions on-site with other dog owners and their dogs). These training sessions are especially helpful, as we get to see other dogs, their owners, problems and the behaviors that caused and can correct them. Bubby has been home for about a week now, and we’ve already progressed to hiking outside without a leash. The two pics here show him doing liberty line training and then roaming around part of our property, unleashed. He’s happy, gets along with our other dog, we have a harmonious household and now we’re slowly working towards getting him out into the world more. Thank you US Canine ???
