Our house was painted 3+ years ago by a local contractor. Sadly we didn’t have any leftover paint, only knew the colors and that it was Sherwin Williams paint. We need to do some touch up work, so I went to the Hamilton Mill location since it’s the closest. Upon entering, Manuel asked if I needed help. I told him my situation, but didn’t know exactly what kind of paint and was even somewhat unsure on the finish. He asked if I knew the contractor and I mentioned who it was and he immediately knew the company and owner. He searched in their database and was able to find by PO our particular job under the company name and exactly what kind of paint and finishes were used. Manuel really went above and beyond and provided amazing customer service. 5 stars!

BUFORD-HAMILTON MILL Sherwin Williams. SW paint is by far the best product for interior and exterior. Color selections are very good. There were 2 issues one involving this store and another with an on-line order. Who ever mixed the colors for my order did a miserable sloppy job spilling paint inside around the entire rim to the point where the lid became stuck and spewed out paint when the lid was opened. This created a huge mess and the person had no clue how to properly prepare a batch. Secondly the on-line order for a paint patch sample took over 10 days to receive via first class USPS from Indiana to GA. That is a ridiculous time for a simple little envelope.

The Hamilton Mill location employs stellar staff. I was greeted when I entered the store, directed to supplies and given helpful information.

Do not tell them what you know/not know regarding the product you about to purchase. Just walk toward the back of store and pick up your "named paint tag" and let staff mix it for you. 1-gallon of mixed paint only costs like $27. Don't let them rip you off.

I brought five used containers of paint to this location to be mixed up. A couple were Sherwin Williams, the others were other brands. The staff helped me unload, shook up all five containers, then helped load by my vehicle. Really great service.
