Today my boss told me to get a cake for one of my coworkers. I assumed it was a birthday cake so I got Publix by my house in Snellville to write a birthday message on it.
I get to work (in Buford) and I found out it was supposed to be a GOING AWAY CAKE?! I took it to this location and explained what was going on and Jen in Bakery was able to FIX IT and it was amazing!!! From ‘happy birthday’ to ‘We’ll miss you!’ She’s amazing! Thank you Publix!

Publix stores in my area are usually smaller than Kroger or Walmart. But the prices seem a bit higher. So I usually go to Publix for smaller quicker runs.
This particular Publix gets 5 stars because the people are exceptionally nice and the place is super clean and organized.

I have to put in a review on the customer service. They let me walk out without all of my bags. I was extremely tired so I didn’t notice until I got back home. I had to return to the store and retrieve the bags. The big thing here was that I was very tired and thus inattentive. But why was the bagger so slow and didn’t stop me, call out to me, or walk after me about this? All of these things are what would commonly be done in years past. Is this just another instance of the problems in America and the new generation? This has never happened to me before. Generally all the baggers that I have had in the past have all been fast enough that they have everything bagged and put in the cart when the checkout person hands me the receipt…or the baggers is just finishing up loading the bags in the cart. That was not the case here. Why? Obviously I shouldn’t shop when I am very tired…but why didn’t anyone try to stop me? I wasn’t in a hurry and not walking fast or too fast to be easily stopped or caught up with in the parking lot as it took me awhile to load the bags in the trunk. So I have say that Publix management should update their procedures and training for this. I can’t be the customer that this happening to.

The employees were very helpful. I did have an incident where items were returned, but I was still charged. Please always check your receipts. They happily refunded me, but luckily, I hadn't gone home before I caught the error.

I really enjoy visiting this Publix. Pros: It has one of the freshest delis with large selection, reminds me of ones in Central Florida when I was down there. Also nice and courteous employees. Other nearby Publix store(s) should learn from this one. I told an employee about an expired product on the shelf and he immediately took care of it no hesitation.
Cons: sometimes the prepared salads are scarce, and I saw a large section of the produce against the wall was empty!? No carrot chips, parsley, leeks, beets etc just empty spaces; maybe it was my bad timing? Also I wish they carried the entire Path of Life collection like other Publix stores, they only have the kale mix and the Mediterranean. Other than that it’s a great store!

The cleanest Publix in the area, although most of them are. They almost always have everything in stock that they advertise. Only issue is the cell phone service is spotty inside.
