My family and I have always been big fans of New Balance, but our recent visit to your store left us extremely disappointed. We specifically came to purchase the 9060 model, and my wife was deciding on the color. She picked up one of the shoes from the display to take a closer look and try it on. At that moment, the sales associate—whose name I unfortunately can't recall exactly (possibly Alice, Ashley, or Emily)—rudely snatched the shoe from my wife's hands to show it to another customer.
While we understand that the associate was assisting someone else, this particular pair was a unisex model, and she could have at least asked if we were done or offered to help us. Instead, she just grabbed the shoe without a word. This was both outrageous and disgusting behavior.
New Balance, please provide proper ethics training for your staff. Such conduct is completely unacceptable and does not align with the level of service we expect from your brand. Thank you.

We drove from Braselton with hopes we would find a good walking shoe to take on a safari in August. Finding it was quirky on Maps but we did. Parking was plentiful and easy. Once inside, we were greeted by a friendly associate who was ready to help us after we looked around. The store is clean and merchandised well (easy to shop) but the inventory was just not what we were expecting. In fact, Journeys in the mall had a much larger and IMO better shoe selection to choose from. It was disappointing and a waste of time. You’d think a brick and mortar store would have all the new styles on the walls to choose from but not so much here. Hats off to the friendly staff!

Christy @the Buford store was very patient with my shoe and insole search this evening. I've been buying the wrong insoles for a couple of years and she fixed that today by introducing me to the flex cushion. Now I just have to figure out which color I want in narrow 880. I prefer the 1080 but my ankle rubs. Thank you Christy for your professionalism, patience and kind demeanor helping me out and then figuring out what my son needs to support his feet as well.

I have been buying strictly New Balance shoes from here for years. Currently I have 2 types of walking and 2 types of hiking shoes I wear regularly. I usually look online for styles and colors then order at store to support them as opposed to ordering online. Never have had a problem. They order them and call when in. I go to store and try them on just to verify fitment then pay for them and take them home. I have never not picked an order up or not taken them for any reason. Last week I wanted to do the same with a new pair of walking shoes but was told they could not be shipped to the store like in past. I would have had to pay for them and they would be shipped to home. I know if there was an issue the store would have taken care of it but honestly with gas over $3.00/gallon plus my time there was no advantage to me to support the store. I am planning on ordering online

Thanks for the quick response. I don’t understand why the factory will not ship to you as they have in the past. You are a retail store and ideally you should be ordering as well as receiving shows from the factory consistently. I want to support your store but as stated before it’s not feasible to take my time and fuel expense when there is no advantage to me over ordering from home. I am getting ready to order two pairs. Let me know if we can do like previously
Second Update:
James reached out to me via email and phone to discuss the issue. He explained to my satisfaction that corporate had changed some policies that affect the stores as well as retail customers and not to the good. He understands my concern and has relayed the review to corporate so they can see the negative impact. Based off him actually caring and understanding my concern I have updated my review. My plan is to keep supporting the store as they really do a good job overall. It hurts that corporate makes decisions that affect customers and retail stores negatively. They should step up and lead the competition in customer service as it’s a lot easier and less expensive to retain current customers than get new customers

Very, very, small selection. I was looking for vibram sole and they had no options. At least have stuff I can try on in store to then order. I was told I can order it. Would’ve saved myself a trip to the store if I knew that!
