I have been on the search for a salon for a while since moving back to Gwinnett a couple of years ago. Most of the previous haircuts I've gotten were pretty ok, but people kept screwing up my bangs. The way my hair naturally grows, there are some slight tweaks that have to be done to my left side or my bangs look crooked. Today was my first time at Kathy Adams Salon. I was set up with Adam as my stylist. Adam was attentive, asked lots of questions about my hair, asked what issues I've had with past hair cuts, and made an actual effort to understand what my hair naturally does (how it lays, what direction in grows in, etc). I then gave him a run down of what kind of cut I wanted and he listened and asked questions. I have found my salon and I have found my stylist. I'm more pleased with my hair cut than I have been in a long while. The staff at the salon was amazing and it was very easy to book an appointment online. The establishment is clean and well kept up. It makes total sense that they were listed as on of the Best of Gwinnett salons. Very please! Thank you Adam!!

I recently was brought to Kathy Adams Salon by a friend for a haircut and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The staff here are incredibly kind and genuinely seem to care about each customer's experience.
I was fortunate enough to have my appointment with MJ, who is an absolute gem. Not only is she highly skilled, but she also took the time to listen to what I wanted and provided expert advice on what would suit me best. She has a wonderful ability to make you feel comfortable and valued as a client.
What stood out most was MJ's thorough knowledge about hair care. She didn't just give me a fantastic haircut; she also took the time to educate me on how to take better care of my hair. She provided tips on which products to use and how to maintain the style at home, which I found incredibly helpful. It's rare to find a stylist who goes above and beyond to ensure you leave with not just great hair, but also the knowledge to keep it looking great.
Overall, my experience at Kathy Adams Salon was exceptional. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and MJ is simply outstanding. If you're looking for a salon where you'll be treated with kindness and expertise, I highly recommend booking an appointment here!

Highly unprofessional and very condescending people and I would make sure the stylist you choose actually knows what they are doing or else you will get a botched haircut and management will do nothing to help you out as the customer. Customer service is absolutely terrible and instead of making it right, the thing at the front desk, just gaslit the situation. Had the front desk tell me that this was a great looking haircut and you can see in the photos how uneven and botched my hair turned out! I had feet of hair and they even took way too much of my hair that I originally requested. STAY AWAY!

I have been a client at Kathy Adams Salon for many years. Kathy McCaffrey is not only an amazing stylist, but an amazing person and friend. All of the stylists are great at what they do, and I enjoy interacting with them when I am there. I must also give a huge shout out to Tida. She runs the desk efficiently and always with a smile and an amazing attitude.

I have had good haircuts before but KAS is more like having an artist work a masterpiece of haircutting. More importantly, everyone I have had the pleasure to interact with has been very friendly.

I’ve been a client 10+ years and love this Salon and Nicki! I moved an hour outside of Atlanta 3 years ago but continue to drive each month back to KAS for my hair. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

I received an excellent cut and unbelievable color from Kathy. Also, it was a "spa" experience from beginning to end. I was wrapped in warm towels, received multiple head massages, and loved the heated massage seat. A fantastic experience.
