I was not happy about nor impressed with the haircut that I received, it was cut too short, and uneven, even though I communicated with the stylist that I wanted a cut, but to retain as much hair and volume as possible. She did not listen, which is frustrating. I was definitely over charged for what was actually done. My stylist said that she was a master stylist and could therefore dicate or decide her own prices, even though the prices for services are listed. I was also misquoted the price of services. She barely styled my hair then had the audacity to charge me a premium for it. I'm definitely disappointed and let down and not happy with the way my hair was done, especially after I explained to the stylist that I've had horrible experiences with previous stylist who did not listen to me the client and took liberties and overcharged for the service. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

Janet is very condescending and unprofessional.I am appalled at the lack of respectful communication with her. The tone and attitude she expressed towards me was absolutely unacceptable.If you don’t think my hair should be done, then just don’t do it.But don’t berate me constantly about how horrible my hair is.

Like the layers they gave me but they cut my bangs WAY too short. I showed them a picture with the bangs below the girl’s eyebrow and she cut mine half an inch above my eyebrow. I don’t recommend this place.

Worst experience ever! The hairstylist was not finished with my hair at 9:30p and I was there since 5:30pm. I was told to leave the salon with my hair still wet and color looking crazy due to mall closing by her manager. I had to pay bill and leave the parking lot from a different entrance with my hair dripping wet at night. I had to go home dry my hair and then return to the salon the next so that that stylist could finish my hair. No manager apologized for the horrible service. The stylist was nice and completed my hair. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the color that I wanted. I wouldn’t return to that store for any hair services.

THIS SALON SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!My mother and I made appointments today to get our hair done. She has short hair … she just wanted to get a trim and flat iron done only on her natural ethic hair. I wanted to get a deep conditioner treatment, rode curling on natural curly hair and trim. The day of our appointment a stylist by the named “Nancy Willis “ called me to confirm our appointments. I confirmed them then later on she explains to me that she doesn’t do it. She only does sew in, perms , and weave. They don’t have anyone right now who can do it for me today. So I said okay what about a trim because surely any stylist should know how to do a trim you would think but NOPE. She explains to me that she only trims long hair. So I said “I’ll just cancel my hair appointment and try again but in reality I don’t ever want to”My mother goes to her appointment since her isn’t canceled still at 4:00. I receive a text from her saying “they canceled my appointment. Did you tell them to cancel my appointment “ right away I call her and told her “no because someone by someone I mean Nancy Willis called me to tell me what is going on with my appointment and I canceled mine only. “ Then Nancy Willis had the nerve to tell my mother that “ I was supposed to relate a message to my mother that her appointment was canceled.” First off why would I relate a message to my mother about my appointment being canceled when it has nothing to do with her appointment at all. Why would I cancel my mother appointment? Second of all If she could call me to confirm and discuss my appointment why wouldn’t she be able to do that for my mother right? That’s very UNPROFESSIONAL. Next thing you know my mother waiting at the counter. She calls me 30 min later to tell me that they have no one who could do her hair! They even tried to assign someone who I 100% RESPECT for be honest to my mother about saying “I don’t know how to flat iron your type of hair unfortunately. “As staff Manager, supervisor or whatever you should know your staff qualifications. Today the staff who were working today should feel horrible for their type of service they give! If you can’t even show a decency of ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE or CLIENTELE then I for one would not trust you with my hair or anything . I recommend you all go back to hair school and learn everything or don’t offer services that you have a hard time finding stylist to do.If the manager sees my review please contact me or respond back if you would like to talk

The place was a hot mess. Three people sitting around one register with a line of people waiting to check out.... really? So after waiting 10 mins to find out if they have any availability, I asked to get a trim (1-2") cut off my hair and I was quoted $35.When I said "oh! No thank you. I will just go to Great Clips for that price" - one of the DELIGHTFUL women behind the counter snickered.No chance in Hell I will ever come back here for service of any kind.

I have to give a shout out to Tad and Claudia for the service provided today. I went to the salon on Friday and was not happy with the results. I really didn’t get what I asked for. I’m not one to complain as everyone has strengths and I can’t say that my original stylist was unkind in any way. She just didn’t listen to what I was saying/asking. After the first wash my color was not right! I went in to the store and immediately Tad, the manager, saw what my concern was. I showed her a pic of what I came as and immediately she set Claudia to work. While it was 4 hours of work to repair what I was doing for my look/long term plan, they did what was right for the end goal. Love the result…and appreciate standing behind their name. I have moved many times in my life and I know I can always rely on Pennys until I can get to a salon that is close to home. I will be traveling to go back to Claudia (new to the team!!!).

I had a color and silk press. They could not give me the chocolate brown color I wanted because base on their feedback “ I used a box color, so it would be hard to go lighter” that would be fine just take be back to black. The shop was closing so I think she did not leave the color in long enough and my roots turned out light brown. Now I look like … I did my color after a couple of drinks. The silk press was just a press. My hair was so frizzy. My “stylist “ responds was this is why I don’t like like doing press for new customers. If you do not have the tools or like using high heat, don’t charge me for a silk press when you don’t know the difference between a silk press and a regular press. Also if your processes causes my hair to be dry and damaged don’t charge me extra for a conditioner to get it back to where it was before you messed it up.Service: Hairstyling

I've been waiting a few weeks debating on posting a review. After a few weeks and seeing bald spots on my head, I decided to finally leave one. I went in for an appointment with Maria a few weeks ago. It was on a Saturday. She never showed, I guess she didn't look at her schedule. That's just the start of all of thisSo then the manager hears what's going on and sees me frustrated and decides to put me in a room and she started my haircut. I needed a haircut and wanted blonde and red highlights like I've always had done. She cut my hair and then had Cole do my foils. I was there all day. Granted I do have alot of hair, but it shouldn't have taken him all day and I ended up with almost my entire head blonde and severely overprocessed! Needless to say when I got home I was fuming. So then I call and schedule an appointment to come back and get it fixed. I come back about 4-5 days later and Cole and the manager Tab looked through my hair and came up with a plan. They were supposed to only add some red back in to even it out and give me a treatment since my hair was like straw. My appointment was at noon...I didn't get out of there until 7:00! The red ended up bleeding onto the blonde because none of it was done correctly and my whole entire head was red! A very vivid red. It wasn't even the same red that I had before. He got red dye all over my hoodie I had on. Thank God he got it out or else I was going to start yelling. I was in tears. Needless to say I got my money back and now I am never go back again. I ended up finding someone else to fix my hair. She actually knew what she was doing. I'm still dealing with breakage and now bald spots. He also just got promoted to master stylist and I'm not sure how. He needs to stick to cut and style and not color! .Services: Haircut
