One of the top Marina's on lake Lanier. Great restaurant, the bathrooms/showers are very good. The staff is outstanding. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the boat parking for the gas dock/restaurant is a mess. They have a great boat rental place there next to the gas dock that is great for people wanting to just rent a nice boat for a day. Some of the dock boards in the rental slips can give you splinters but that's a small thing. Overall, in personally think it's the best Marina on the lake.

Use to go here all the time to eat at Twisted Oar. Went recently on my motorcycle and upon arriving was denied access to Twisted Oar due to being on a motorcycle. First Security guard said it was a policy for over a year which is not true then when second one arrived he stated it just went into effect. No signs or anything posted and denying access to paying customers is wrong. Never going to be going here again.

All motorcycles banned on weekends indiscriminately. Went here for a friend's birthday party, had to park on the side and hoof it a good distance. Like take our IDs or something if you had an issue, don't lump the good with the bad. Won't be coming back until this policy is changed as I only have 2 wheels.

This place denied me service because I was on two wheels, what is the world coming too when people are automatically criminalized by just partaking in a activity like riding a motorcycle. Even if this doesn’t affect you directly just think about the place that you are spending your money at. Don’t make these arrogant immature people any richer then what they are.

Came in riding my motorcycle and was asked to leave. I’ve never heard of someone not allowed to come to a restaurant because they drove there in a motorcycle???? Seems like some extremely judge mental attitude to have towards people with bikes. Strangest thing I’ve ever experienced, would totally avoid.

Can i make it a 1/4 star?!?!My family has been slip holders for 2 decades always been a pleasure but on 8-26-21 1:30 - 2am, the security up here basically harassing myself and my girlfriend using the bathhouse needs reassigned or just removed from his post. After pulling in sideways to my parking spot, nose of his truck mere feet from my driver door blinding us for over 6 minutes, as we gather things for the shower, just to peel out and head towards the back of the marina. I do admit after the first encounter, he did casually warn me not to be in the women's bathroom(delivered my gf's conditioner, not a single other visitor in sight at 130am) but after seeing us both up here for almost an hour, i watched him 3 times have to knock on the women's door to check knowing she is still in there (my truck hasnt moved) and lightly taps the door before opening it all the way and is in no rush to verbally announce his presence. Which i believe to be a blatant invasion of privacy. I do not know his name but his misuse of the marinas company truck is frankly absurd.. driving dangerously fast for his surroundings, no regard for safety what so ever, spinning the tires everywhere he goes, flies up and down the lot, and speaks condescendingly to slip holders as if he is on a power trip. Its disrespectful beyond my own belief not only to his employers vehicle but to the slip holders safety. He is speeding past the bathhouse as i write this. Clearly speed bumps mean nothing. This is wreckless endangerment, and is not acceptable behavior whatsoever. Hes an embarrassing representation of the marina staff, and in no way a competent employee for any employer that values the opinion of the visitors/slip holders that he supposedly serves!! He's unfit for more than his post as security..I hope this is addressed promptly because he's a danger to the public at this point.

Really no motorcycles allowed ? Or motorcycle parking spots?? Pretty discouraging for people that ride bikes. Or just wanted to stop by for some food.
