They were to pick up car at dealership 3 1/2 weeks ago. No body answers the phone at this location and corporate is just as bad!!! Enterprise rental is far more efficient!!!

I would give the 4125 Buford location a Zero if I could.Rented the manager's special and had no idea what vehicle they were pushing until I arrived. To my surprise it was an electric vehicle. I told the representative I was unfamiliar with electric vehicles, and if I did not like it could I return it. He stated, "Yes!"On the 6th day of rental, I called and advised my return date would be the 8th. The representative I spoke to said "No problem." This electric Chevrolet Bolt was way more expensive to operate than most mid-sized gas vehicle. I was spending $19 a day to keep it charged, and the amount of time wasted waiting.The initial rental agreement was $699 per month. Hertz hit my AmEx for $772 dollars. I called Customer "No" Service, to point out this error. After waiting 10 minutes, I finally got a human. I tried to explain how Hertz charged for the whole month instead of just charging for one week. He continuously talked over me, then I was put on hold. He came back on the phone and talked over me some more. Then I was put back on hold again.After 30 minutes of holding, he hung up on me by transferring my call back to the switchboard.Even the customer "No Service? manager had the personality of a door knob. He could care less about providing excellent customer service and it was heard in his voice.I will never forget how Badly this whole experience made me feel. Hertz, your Customer Service & Billing Manager does not care about your customers.Never, ever, ever renting from this company again. . This was my first time with Hertz and Apparently my last! Enterprise here I come!And the "Response from the Owner" is a joke. I have not heard from anyone as of yet. You should stop replying to your Bad Reviews, and focus more on providing Excellent Customer Service. Stop pretending that you actually care about your Customers, because I have wasted 3 days of my life, that I will never get back, trying to fix a problem you created.Hertz Rental get yourself together!

Almost lost my flight. I rented a car online and when I went to pick it up, the guy at the front just smiled and said he doesn’t have cars for rent at the moment. Will never use Hertz again.

Stay away! I've exclusively used Hertz for 4 years, however this experience at the Buford location had me wondering if I should switch to one of their competitors. Nobody at the front desk for 20-30 minutes upon arriving. The service was extremely slow. The full size sedan was not given to me because it was "smoked inside." I was given another vehicle at 18% fuel, which was a first. I returned the vehicle at 50%, and the next day I realize I was charged an $80 "transfer exchange fuel and service" fee, meaning I did not return the vehicle at the fuel I started with. I called in the Hertz customer service number and after spending 25 minutes on hold I explained the situation and got a refund. I figure it's the disorganized location rather than Hertz itself. Stay away from this location!

Arranged a full size sedan when we booked online. Upon arrival at the store we were informed that the sedan that was returned had been "smoked out". We were offered an SUV at no additional charge. Our representative, Micah, walked my wife and I to the car to inspect it and when my wife mentioned a smell ( I thought it was fine) he immediately said he would find another one that she was happy with. The next SUV was satisfactory and we were out of there in less than 15 minutes. Far better experience here than the Lawrenceville store.

Had to rent from Hertz due to a warranty repair on my car. Dealership uses this Hertz dealership. Car I was given had bad tires apparently (had a nice tire blow out after leaving) which looking at the tire after the blow out showed obvious signs of bad wear. A mile down the road one of the tires blew. Had to wait an hour on the side of the road - because you cant call the location directly and they wont come and swap the car out for you. Instead you have to call roadside assistance and get a tow truck to you which could take an hour and half. Get back to the Hertz location and they are completely uncooperative at the front desk to work a solution. The gentleman at the front desk could care less about the inconvenience you have to deal with nor did he attempt to alleviate the situation. Cars are dirty and obviously not well maintained. After a call to my dealership Paige was able to get me another vehicle. Would avoid this place at all costs. Complete clown show of an operation.

Poor customer service. They don’t do a walk thru of the vehicle, they just give you the key and tell you to click the remote to find it. They have three ppl there for no reason. Very dry, lack luster service.., and they don’t follow proper rental car co procedures. The car smells like cigarettes and not clean with scratches. I reserved a 7 passenger vehicle, they gave me a four passenger without any explanation. I should have gone with Enterprise.

This is the WORST car rental place I have ever been to. I would rather spend more money and go to elsewhere . The line was slow and long during my pick up and the drop off.The day of my pickup I was to be there at 500 pm. I didn’t get out of there until 615pm. They gave me a car that had a maintenance light on drove around the block and had to come back. The car they did give me was dirty on the inside and the outside. For whatever reason they have to go wash every car they give to a customer. The young men in there are not friendly or even business courteous. I will never use this location ever. I will say they are giving Hertz company a bad name though. I have never had this experience with Hertz and I travel for a living so I have used all types of car rental places and this is by the worst.

Reserved a Tesla online at this Buford location and woke up early to pick up. Person at the counter said that because I rented "yesterday" they didn't have any available although there were 2 on the lot. They offered a GMC Acadia at a higher price and I said I would take it if they gave me the same price but they refused to honor my reservation price. Lost me as a customer Hertz.

I always receive a 5 star service when renting from this location. The team is friendly, knowledgeable and does their best to make sure you leave with your reserved rental car. Paige goes above expectations to communicate to ensure you leave with a rental car. This is my go to location for rentals!
