I was in need of a last minute prom dress and found this boutique. It was a bit of a drive but well worth it. The service was great, with constant help and assistance picking out and trying on dresses. I would say to go earlier in the year for more options, because it was rather slim pickings for a 00, but that was on me. The dresses are all the same price as anywhere else, but the environment and attentiveness made it feel like a steal. Highly recommend if looking for a beautiful prom or homecoming dress!

DO NOT SHOP HERE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My daughter and I walked in around 1pm on a Friday, and we were greeted by an employee who was supposed to help her find a dress. The employee asked if my daughter knew her dress size, which my daughter did not. Instead of measuring her, the employee made a guess based on looking her up and down. My daughter picked out dresses in the size she was told, and was taken away from me into a dressing room in the back. Parents are not allowed in the dressing room, which is extremely weird. To show parents the dress, the girls need to walk out in front of the entire store, which is extremely uncomfortable. I don't know any girl who likes the feeling of everyone watching you. The size that was estimated for my daughter ended up being too small. The sales associate proceeded to say VERY loudly that her size did not fit and she needed a bigger size, in front of a lot of other teenage girls who were a size 00. Instead of taking the time to find the dresses she picked in a different size, she said that this was not going to work and that she needed to send my daughter upstairs, where she switched her to a different employee. They keep all the "bigger" dresses (size 8 and up) upstairs. Since when is size 8 a plus size... My daughter was humiliated to walk upstairs in front of everyone watching. We thought that there would be a wide range of dresses like there was on the first floor, but this was not the case. She was only able to find about 3 dresses she liked upstairs. She tried one on, and came out of the dressing rooms they keep away from the rest of the store. My daughter said she would need to get the dress hemmed, too which the employee made a comment and said "yeah, you are short and have short legs, these dresses are ideally for tall girls with long legs". My daughter began to tear up. I saw how my daughter felt and we left the store after driving an hour. When we walked down the stairs, everyone looked at her. My daughter was sobbing in the car, crying for 20 minutes about how she hated herself and how this store made her feel this way. This is a despicable environment and I would not recommend this store for ANYONE, unless they are a size 00.I was willing to pay 1000 dollars for a dress.... this is the loss of the store. She ended up purchasing a beautiful Jovani dress at Bravura, and she looked gorgeous in it. Go there if you want a better selection of luxury dresses.

My granddaughter was treated very rudely. She looked and tried on one dress. No help was given. No advice or suggestions or compliments. Then when paying for this $600 dress she was asked to add a tip to the price. Not a great experience. She had expected better service.

Berkley with Girlie Girl Boutique surpassed all expectations! I truly am lost for words! The service she provided was absolutely amazing as she went above and beyond to help my daughter find 2 perfect prom dresses for 2 different events. Despite a 5-hour drive, the personalized attention and expertise made the journey worthwhile. If this was not her last prom (she’s a Senior), we would definitely be back and Berkley would be our girl! We're thrilled with our purchases and highly recommend this boutique and Berkley for exceptional service and beautiful dresses!

I had an AMAZING experience at girli girl, I was helped by the sales associate Caroline who was so so patient with my indecisiveness as well as helpful with suggestions for different dresses. Not to mention Caroline just being super kind overall. After about an hour of trying dresses on we decided on the style and the front desk was very accommodating when we decided to order the dress I loved in a different color. The layout of the store was pretty easy to navigate and their selection was incredible so there was a lot to look at if you don't know what you're interested in just yet. Overall my experience there was lovely heavily thanks to the welcoming staff. I would recommend the store to anyone who is looking for a prom dress.

I am a size 16 and this year it has been extremely difficult to find a prom dress which is very odd because last year i had no problem. i contacted girligirl because it's my senior prom and i am looking for my dream dress however when i called they not only put me on hold multiple times and never came back to the phone but eventually told me that they only had a few dresses in my size and from the description they were nothing like what is advertised or i've seen my SMALLER friends try on. i am absolutely so disappointed with them because i have followed their page for TWO YEARS and dreamed about wearing one of their dresses like advertise.

Bridget was most helpful. I got us into a bind when another order fell through. I needed an outfit within a few days and it was Thanksgiving. Got us all taken care of, and followed up like she said. Thank you, thank you.

I purchased a homecoming dress for my daughter from girligirl and I don’t think I’ve ever had a more terrible shopping experience. The dance fell on the weekend of my daughter’s 16th birthday. I wanted the night to be special, so when she found a dress she loved, I decided to go for it even though it was over $500 (plus tip). The attendant helped her try it on and make sure it fit perfectly. We had waited over an hour to get help, but the dress was beautiful so we left happy.
Unfortunately, the beautiful dress didn’t make it past pictures. Before she got inside the dance, the zipper on the back split open. My daughter called me frantically. She wasn’t able to hold it up without help from friends. Several parents also tried to help. Eventually, we were able to locate a sewing kit and sewed her back up as best we could. By then, she had missed part of the dance and had to spend the rest of it trying not to move for fear of it busting open again.
I called the shop on Monday. Instead of apologizing or sympathizing, the manager, Bridget, immediately minimized the situation: “These zippers get stuck all the time. All you had to do was tug at it. You must not have pulled hard enough,” she said. I have dealt with a stuck zipper before. It was not stuck. It had split apart.
When I later went to the shop to show her the dress, she was with a customer. She abruptly left them, grabbed my dress bag while I held on to the other side, and quickly pulled us towards the dressing room. She examined the dress and continued trying to gaslight me into thinking we were somehow at fault. At one point, she found a piece of thread the size of an eyelash, and declared that if we would have just noticed and removed it, the zipper would have never split.
She offered to replace the zipper, but I said I wanted a refund. She seemed horrified that I would expect a refund for a $500 dress that didn’t make it more than a couple of hours. I asked her to please try and see if there was something more she could do. The next day, she called to confirm they would only replace the zipper. I asked to speak to the owner. Instead of saying she’d have the owner call me, she said it was not possible for me to speak with them. I asked for the owner’s direct line and she said she would not give me her “personal number.” I never asked for a personal number! I asked for the owner’s name, and she refused to tell me that too. I became frustrated, told her if she wouldn’t tell me the owner’s name I would find it myself on the secretary of state’s website, and hung up. A few minutes later, she called back to tell me since I was making threats (by asking for the owner’s name?!) and not happy with their offer to replace the zipper, I needed to come pick up the dress immediately. I explained I wasn’t threatening anyone. I simply wanted to speak with someone who had authority to make actual decisions. She said that was her. I said I hadn't realized this because she looked relatively young. She then said she’d have me know she has a college degree in fashion marketing. My head was spinning. She told me I should have appreciated their generous offer, especially since we had cut the (already broken) zipper to get my daughter out of the dress and it would cost $100 to repair. I have no idea how much it costs to fix a zipper, but when she said this I started to panic. The last thing I wanted was to have to throw more money away. I apologized and said I would take the repair, but she said it was too late and the shop had made a final decision. I pleaded with her but she stood firm that they would do nothing for me. I hung up and couldn't help but cry. In my opinion, this company does not stand by their products. They hide behind a “no returns” policy instead of taking accountability when there is a problem with one of their dresses. Worse, the lack of empathy and rude treatment I received was unnecessary and honestly slightly traumatizing.

I want to express my thanks to the amazing team at Girligirl Boutique and Olyvia our dress consultant. She provided exceptional assistance in finding the perfect dress for my daughter's pageant. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made us feel like family. They made my daughter feel comfortable and confident throughout the process, going above and beyond to ensure her satisfaction. The dress selection was impressive, and the quality was top-notch. I was able to relax in a very clean and fairytale like pageant room , this made my daughter feel like a princess. I was shown every dress option and was made part of the whole process. We were also given on-site alterations, resulting in a flawless fit. I highly recommend Girligirl Boutique for their outstanding service and beautiful dresses. Thank you for making this experience memorable for both me and my daughter. I highly recommend Girligirl especially to my other clueless dads out there!
Sincerely,
A Grateful Dad
