Flat out has worked on a few vehicles of mine over the past year. Every single time, their prices have been fair, communication has been excellent, turnaround time has been fast, and quality of work has been top-notch. From audio to electrical to off-road upgrades, this is probably the single best shop I have ever worked with.It is hard to find a good shop these days, and Flat Out truly stands out.

It is with a heavy heart that I must warn everyone who does business with this establishment. In 2021 I purchased a brand spanking new Jeep Gladiator from Mall of Georgia Jeep. During the deal, we agreed that the dealership would upgrade the stereo in the vehicle which they did. Almost immediately I began having electrical issues with the vehicle. The brake light on the dash would blink randomly, the air conditioner fan would quit blowing, the reverse light would come on as I was driving, and the transmission would not shift. I returned it to the dealership which I purchased the vehicle from, and they stated the computer didn’t reset for some reason but that they had updated the computer and it was good. Some 6 months later same issues so again took it in under warranty. They kept the vehicle for a week and still couldn’t determine what the trouble was. I was a little upset with their answer, and they told me to take it to another dealer. When I was able to I took the Vehicle to Adkins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ford Ram for the issue. Again, I was told by them that the computer needed to be reset and they did that and HOPEFULLY, It cleared up the issue. Now of course all this work was being done while it was under warranty. Flash forward I have the same problem as the last three times, and I brought the vehicle in but now the warranty has expired and wouldn’t you know it conveniently were able to determine the source of the problem. So, remember back when I had the radio installed, ya well, these geniuses forgot to remove the Taser interface from the radio after installation, so it has been throwing the computer off this whole time. Now do you think Jeep would honor their product, right? You would if you were as dedicated to the MOPAR brand as I have been throughout my life, but you would be as wrong as I was. Instead, these criminals at Atkins charged me with diagnostic and labor to remove the device that was left behind by another Jeep dealership. WAY TO STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT JEEP!!! I have owned a MOPAR product ever since I was 16 years old, and I am currently 52. As a matter of fact, I drove from Atlanta to Biloxi to buy my wife’s Jeep from the same salesman who sold us our first car as a couple 30 years ago as a retirement gift for him. Needless to say, MOPAR has gotten their fair share of my hard-earned money and for this multimillion-dollar dealership to steal it like they did is incomprehensible. I never had an issue with a dealership OR Chrysler however, this is criminal you keep resetting the computer until the warranty runs out and then conveniently are able to determine the issue after the warranty has expired and you can steal my money. Folks I am a retired Navy SEABEE with 5 combat tours. I live and die by three core values HONOR, COURAGE, AND COMMITMENT. This dealership has none of those values and in fact, is criminal. Well, folks I hope you read this and take heed because you are taking an extreme risk doing business with this unscrupulous dealership.

Mike answered all of my questions and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I did not have a big job, but the blackout de-chrome package they provided looks great. The customer service was top-notch. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I just had my car serviced here and wanted to share my experience. (Especially for anyone looking for a service similar to mine). I was drawn to Flat-Out because of the 4.8 stars. In-fact I drove nearly 2+ hours round trip due to all those positive reviews. Before going in today I called in and spoke to an agent, Brady, twice to confirm the process. My request was fairly simple, installing a bull bar in the front of my vehicle to help protect the SUV. I was quoted $150-200 and scheduled a week out to ensure a minimum wait. The day finally came and after taking off work and driving an hour in the rain I was greeted nicely by the staff and Brady. He came out and took a look at the car and then that's where things really took a turn. I was told the estimate would actually be $300 plus tax (nearly double)!!! A lot of the reviews also mentioned it could be pricey, but their quality of work was amazing. So I ultimately folded and said that would be fine because I respect craftsmanship. I asked how long it would take and was told to come back in 5-6 hours and there was a mall across the street. I could not believe that it would take so long for a simple install (4 bolts in total, manual indicated 60-90 minutes). After waiting 4+ hours I returned only to find out they cut two holes in my bumper and they could not find a way to actually install or bolt it on. They then decided the part was incompatible, and that they were going to charge me for labor anyway. I showed my product and part number which clearly showed the item was compatible with my year and make. Even a picture with of the same car model with it on. After an argument with the manager (in which my key was held hostage) I ultimately had no choice but to pay and walk away. Even though I had not signed anything prior to dropping off the car, the manager tried to type out some paperwork claiming they were not liable for the holes and "incompatibility".Upon leaving I called the manufacturer of the bull bar and sent them pictures of where Flat-Out had cut, and came to find out the technicians cut into the wrong location. They missed the area by almost 4 inches!! Luckily, I found another garage the same day that knew exactly what to do and it took them less than an hour. Everything did fit perfectly. So in reality, it was not incompatibility but incompetence. Unfortunately, I do have two holes where there should not be any, but at least it's on now.At the end of the day, I think Flat-Out may have many great expertise in lifts, tires, rims, and other things. But installing Bull-bars does not seem to be one of them! Also be careful for bait and switches when it comes to pricing. Make sure you ask plenty of questions to see if they actually know what they are doing before making a crazy drive. I'm glad others have had better experiences, and sadly mine was TERRIBLE, but I wanted to be sure I shared mine in case it helps at least one other person. I lost 8 hours of my day, hard-earned money for "extensive labor", and left with nothing done except two punctures in my bumper.Service: Body & Trim

My car looks amazing, I got the Ceramic Coating put on my car. They explained what was going to be done how to take care of it, as well as gave me a small care list to leave in my care if I had a question and also a quick reference. My husband had down all his work here and trusts them. Thanks guys!

Everytime I go I feel like they completely understand any wild questions my brain makes up. The staff is SUPER knowledgeable, eager to help, and thoroughly engaged in the swath of things I want my car to do or have. As a bonus the variety of the products/services they offer are immeasurable. Plus the displays of wheels and tires they showcase make it very easy for you to get a real mental picture of what they will look like on your vehicle before you buy, unlike pure online retail. This place is one stop shop for people who not only like driving, but also want to look (and sound) good doing it. If you're going somewhere else ,get directions on your phone, turn around, and head straight to Flat-Out Auto and you'll never have to look any further.

I am truly a disappointed customer to say the least right now! I began working with FOA in July 2022 in preparation of upgrading my son's truck as a surprise for his returning back home to Atlanta. I worked with Mike for the purchase and install of a 7 inch lift kit, wheels and tires. I racked up $11k in costs. After inspecting the truck, they said I had to repair the tie rod ends. I agreed and they continues to work. I am a 50 yr old mother who knows nothing about truck lifts and wheels. I went to them for their expertise! AT NO TIME DID THEY TELL ME THAT I MUST UPGRADE THE BRAKING SYSTEM to accommodate the change in the wheel size and the weight of the truck. I also received 1 defective tire that they solely blamed on the vendor. As a result of them not informing a novice, I HAVE A TRUCK WITH 11K UPGRADES AND ABSOLUTELY NO BRAKES!! MY TRUCK WILL NOT STOP AT ALL! I HAD TO TOW IT HOME THIS CHRISTMAS WEEK BECAUSE THE BRAKES WENT OUT IN 3 WEEKS! Another reputable shop in Atlanta told me they were REQUIRED to upgrade the brakes at the same time as the wheels! I am so angry at this place! I spent so much money on my son's truck and it remains inoperable after so much money spent! THIS IS NOT HOW BUSINESS SHOULD BE DONE! I will never recommend this place to Anyone!Services: Vehicle Inspection
